The level of customer attention and assistance is just superb! Comfortable bedding and quiet room (#505). I suggest getting a room facing the inside courtyard rather than facing the Gral. Mendiburu street. Breakfast is varied, plentiful, and fresh, not your standard US-type of scrambled eggs (from a carton), sausage, and potatoes. There are 3 Tierra Viva in Miraflores. I selected the one in Mendiburu because it's in a quiet area with less traffic and is walkable to Miraflores Centro. Of course, the taxi to Miraflores Centro is just 10 soles (about $2.50).

The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The hotel is in the embassy area, very quiet at night. If you want to eat Chinese food, you still have to take a taxi and go out to eat. Several Chinese food nearby are all improved versions.

Western-style buffet breakfast is not bad, orange juice and toast in general. The hotel is located in the affluent area, safe and secure, and there will be no problems when going out at night. At the door, the car is called to let the doorman call a regular taxi. It is expensive to park a car at the door.

Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)

The location is good, the room is comfortable and the facilities are good, the key is that the hotel service is also good, English, early check-in, welcome wine, all things feel good, unlike some hotels here have to wait until then to check in

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. All my friends booked different hostels all over Miraflores but we've made this the meeting point, as it was walking distance to pretty much anything and everything. The vibes were awesome. The common areas were spacious and very clean. I did a walking tour to Barranco with one of their guides, I believe it was with Juan and that was very cool. The staff in the bar/breakfast area could be a little better. Service was very delayed and they naver had change when you wanted to tip them. I had the private room with a private bathroom and it was super clean and cozy! I was so happy it was on the 6th floor, gave me a little bit of privacy. Overall great experience and highly recommend Selina!

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

The best location for this hotel is the location, which is one of the safest areas in Peru, because it is the financial district, so most whites eat at nearby restaurants. The breakfast is good, the front desk is also better. The only problem is that if you check in at 3 pm, you can't do it in advance!
