1900 Hostel Lima

We stayed here on our last nights in Peru before flying back. It was fine, the room was comfortable. They didn’t take card but have an ATM downstairs to get cash out. The building is beautiful, however the roof top area felt unfinished and a bit dirty. There is a bar/restaurant downstairs which we had dinner in, they were only serving pizza that night but it was nice. The breakfast was really good. We did a walking tour with the guy from the hostel, it was good fun and nice to see the old town with someone who knew the place. We had delicious churros and learnt about the old town. It would have been nice if the tour started early in the day - 4pm felt we were waiting around for it to start! Overall an alright stay, would recommend spending some time in Miraflores though but expect to pay more than this area.

The hostel is very friendly and generous, Christian the tour guide in particular was spectacular! Gave me all the inflrmation i needed and more regarding peru tracks overall.

I loved my stay in this hostel - I had private room(s). Initially I stayed one night and came back from Cusco and stayed two night before my flight back. Staff of this hostel were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. They helped me with all my queries I had - like, with walking tour, taking bus to Miraflore, restaurant, PCR test, taxi service beside picking and drooping off at the airport. I would go back and recommend this place mainly because of the staff. Such a nice people!! Room was basic but neat and clean. Bed was big and sheets/blankets were clean. Bathrooms were clean but at late night - paper towels were all finished and water wasn't there in the facets. I was bit annoying. I did mention this to the staff there and one night I was given a bucket with water... well,I brushed my teeth with that water... They had terrace with bar and seating area. On my last night, I did meet few interesting ladies out there. Had a wonderful time. On my first night as I was already late and it was christmas eve - I had to order food from there - Not wow! Breakfast was basic,light and just "meh"...well, u get what u pay for!!LOL Building was supposed to be fabulous but they only use one floor...still, the places they used were clean and nice. I did have pre arranged taxi service to/from the airport. It was very convenient and timely. I couldn't do PCR test in the hostel as I was late and because of the holidays but that's a nice service to have. I did a walking Lima central tour from the hostel. Christian was knowledgeable,funny,friendly and wonderful tour guide. Above all, the staff of this hostel was really really helpful. I give a big shout out to Megumi. She was such a fantastic soul. She tried helping me in everyway I asked for. Thank you!

This was a good stay for the price. The staff was extremely helpful and the downstairs restaurant was pretty good for breakfast and dinner.

Great hostel, friendly staff big breakfast in the morning that was just downstairs. View from the roof is great. Rooms were big and showers hot. Lots of space to cook food although we just ate out. They have guided tours too round Lima ( didn’t do but looked good).
