This hotel looked nice online but the photos were cleverly taken and it was not as nice as it initially looked. The rooms were outdated and many outlets broken. The communication between the front desk and kitchen was not great. We had been told breakfast would be ready 15 min earlier than usual for us due to our early flight, which the FD confirmed the day before, but when we showed up at breakfast they tried to send us away, were annoyed with us, and nothing was ready, so we ended up going to the airport with no breakfast (not great when you have a small kid that had a meltdown). The hotel is dated and budget. The location is OK but not the best. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located in the flashy neighbourhood of Miraflores but the property couldn’t be further from the same. The receptionists were rude and frosty, the room we stayed on was facing the corner street and it was VERY loud. Honking, street busses and rubbish trucks it was like there was no sound insulation in the walls or windows at all. At certain times of the day it smelt like gasoline leaking from the bathroom vents. This was more of a health scare as this could have been fatal during our sleep. No bottles of water were provided upon arrivals and we had to pay for everything. What I can comment them on is the Brekky buffet which was probably the highlight of the hotels offering

Great location but lots of street noise! Our room was large and clean, breakfast was acceptable but not exceptional. Grilled octopus appetizer in restaurant that night was the worst I have ever had. Don’t go for dinner! Overall would recommend for location and price

I stayed at this hotel when I first landed in Lima. I then went to Cusco and came back. This hotel is absolutely amazing. Very clean from reception to dinning to the hotel room. They have theeee best breakfast. The juice and food is fresh. The bedrooms are superclean. The sheets, pillows and towels are fresh..yes fresh. I highly recommend this hotel

Okay, so the Miramar is a little worn, a tad ragged about the edges, fixtures and carpeting linens and towels are a tad long in the tooth. But... It is clean. Everything works, most importantlythe shower and the aircon. It's in a great location, with a bunch of restaurants and supermarkets and money changers close by, and Av. Jose Pardo is half a block away, giving you a wonderful walk to the Ovala de Miraflores, where can carry on in equal comfort in a bunch of different directions. The neighbourhood is clean, safe and vibrant. It's inexpensive, even with a nice included breakfast. And all that good aside, the best thing about Hotel Miarmar is its staff. The front desk clerks, bellhops/concierge and housekeepers are excellent. Helpful, patient and professional in appearance and demeanor...nothing but good to say about these folks. But, the true shining star of this property is our breakfast Server, Josephine. Josie was effusive, so cheerful and friendly and outgoing, genuinely sweet and kind. She went out of her way to help us get sorted at breakfast and then again later in the morning, going way above her job description to help us. We'd come back and stay here just due her efforts 👌

staff are great there was a little confusion at the check in i think the guy who checked me in was annoyed by an older couple behind me he was under pressure by the old rude couple behind me , who were rushing us , it wasn't his fault he is a nice guy , the couple were from the ghetto's you could tell even at breakfast they were Annoying me ANNA JIL the manager explained everything to me nicely so i paid for an extra night which i arrived late , and in Expedia's website and my confirmation says free breakfast only , it doesn't say i have breakfast buffet or American breakfast , it says free breakfast only... it is not Hotel's fault or mine it was Expedia's fault not to clarify , but anyways i enjoyed american breakfast all in all a great hotel thank you everyone and thank you ANNA JIL , she is a wonderful manager... i am so happy that i met her , she really is a great person... and very professional...

So my husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in Lima, when you walk inside it looks nice and inviting. There is a doorman that assists with bags and the location is perfect. The room however was not the best. The closet smelled like a Catholic Church, the bathroom has a toilet paper dispenser that rations out the toilet paper that equals to one pull counts as one square of toilet paper. The shower was perfect the first night, it was hot and just what we needed. The following two nights the water was best described as luke warm if not less than, we notified the front desk of the issue, they sent someone up and they looked at the shower, turned it on and off and left without a solution. We called again to the front desk for this issue again due to it not being resolved and another attendant came, she was very rude, looked at her phone the entire time even when I opened the door, there was no greeting or inquiry of the issue at hand, she was heard mumbling under her breath and sounded very annoyed with having to come to look at the complaint of no hot water. She stayed about 5 minutes and the water did get hot and as soon as she left the water turned Luke warm again. For two nights we had this issue, with no resolution, stay here if you like cold/Luke warm showers and no one to do anything about it.

My family and I had a fantastic stay here and had a lot of great help from Jocelyn. She provided an amazing service during our morning breakfast. She even provided the best meals for my family. Everyone at the front desk were extremely helpful and willing to help us out. I recommend staying here at the Hotel Miramar.

Very nice hotel just a few blocks from the ocean overview and nice parks along the cliffs of the Pacific ocean. Our room was clean, Had a frig and plenty of hot water!. Beds were a little firm for me, but that was the only complaint I had. Service was good and they brought breakfast to our room. Very nice!
