Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)

This Hotel was everything I expected an more!! Phenomenal customer service throughout the entire stay, and everyone was so accommodating to any need I may have or concern. The rooms were spotless!! And I felt their safety measures for cleanliness was 10 out of 10! Antonio was so helpful throughout the stay! For my first time staying in Lima, they made it such a pleasure. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends/family.

Western-style buffet breakfast is not bad, orange juice and toast in general. The hotel is located in the affluent area, safe and secure, and there will be no problems when going out at night. At the door, the car is called to let the doorman call a regular taxi. It is expensive to park a car at the door.

The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The hotel is in the embassy area, very quiet at night. If you want to eat Chinese food, you still have to take a taxi and go out to eat. Several Chinese food nearby are all improved versions.

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. El Golf is in a very safe neighborhood and Uber rides were always at our door within 5 minutes. The American breakfast was buffet style when the hotel was full and made to order the morning we left when there were less guests. The old home is beautiful and there is a courtyard with a small dipping pool in the back. We stayed in the first floor suite with a king bed, spa tub and walk in shower. Very spacious for the two of us. No street noise. The desk is staffed 24 hours and lets you in and out the locked glass doors for your transportation and walks. They spoke excellent English and found answers to any questions we had. I would definitively recommend to family and friends.
