Such a beautiful hotel in an historic building. Unique architecture and art exhibits throughout, large comfortable rooms, helpful hotel Staff, great location, excellent breakfast, pool, spa, handicap accessible. Highly recommend.

A very beautiful hotel with a history. We stayed here for two nights. Upon entry, we were greeted by Thomas, he was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. The front desk staff as well as the breakfast and bar went above and beyond in guest service. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy the spa but the facilities were very clean and welcoming. Within walking distance to Lille city and an Uber ride away from Fromelles where we went to the Museum and walked through cemeteries from the World War which displayed the sacrifices made to ensure our freedoms. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lille.

Family escape in Lille, smooth arrival and stay thanks to the loyalty program Marriott Bonvoy and the Marriott app facilitating the overall stay. The room is nice, great location to discover Lille, the building is beautiful and must be visited during your stay. The breakfast is wonderful, various and the team makes sure you enjoy your start of the day. The pool and spa are great to relax as well.

As with every stay we've had at l'Hermitage, this stay was exceptional. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff are particularly outstanding--attentive, knowledgeable, anticipating needs, genuinely concerned. Even before we arrived, our room had been carefully chosen for us. The front desk recognized me as I walked in--amazing. The breakfast is high quality, a wide variety, delicious. Here too, every staff member is so attentive and thoughtful. The hotel itself is "for the ages" beautiful, unique architecture and beauty.

This is a historical building with nice lounges, a spa, and other public areas. The breakfast restaurant is nice. The same restaurant serves the lounge, which is a very convenient place for evenings with live music as well. They had a minor billing issue, which didn't leave a comfortable feeling.

I like the Autograph Collection brand of Marriott - one always gets something interesting out of it - not a box shaped business hotel. Because of the Marriott status we were upgraded to the suite and were offered complimentary breakfast. The suite (312) consists from large reception room, the king size bedroom to the right, and the bathroom to the left. Some Port and chocolates were offered as a welcome gift. There was also a Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of Vittel water bottles. Breakfast was rather basic but with high quality ingredients. I wish they would have better explained (in fact they explained nothing unless offering to "sit anywhere") that one can order any coffee from the bar and not abuse single nespresso machine that is available in the breakfast room. Only other thing to mention was the housekeeping staff too eager to clean the room so they knocked the door with the "do not disturb" sign clearly present. But unfortunately this happens in almost every hotel from time to time,

Very nice hotel. Rooms very luxurious and come with deep bathtub, small fridge, safe and coffee machine. Takes a while for the hot water to heat up.
