Hotel la Hasienda

Great hotel with clean , cool room. Lovely sunset , view and food from upstairs restaurant. Great hosts and the hotel is a mosaic masterpiece, many years of hard work , attention to detail by the lovely Hotel owner Mike . We would definitely stay again .

Close to the airport and they do a good job coordinating the ferry boat logistics. And the roofdeck is nice if you can stand the smoke. Food mediocre at best. Beds were stiff and bathrooms had a nasty smell. Warning: Don't take your girlfriend or wife unless you like conflict!

Such an extraordinary and unique property. Everywhere you look the mosaic overload is fantastic. Meandering through the hallways and staircases, which are just bursting with colour, you’ll find something intriguing around every corner, you just want to keep exploring. And as I did, get a little lost in there and not end up where you thought! You’ll feel like you’re on the set for a Mexican cowboy movie. The owner/builder Michael has done an amazing job creating this masterpiece. The attention to detail is mind-blowing. The staff are great. Friendly and polite. The rooftop bar/restaurant is the best place to enjoy the views of Kupang and the most beautiful sunsets, with a cold beer or cocktail. The restaurant serves great food at very reasonable prices, and plenty of variety, Mexican, Indonesian, European. Recommend the tacos. Good wine available by the glass & breakfast is included in your nightly rate. The lovely pool area is creatively designed, and a great area just to chill. Michael and his team are great at organizing all transfers to and from the hotel, the harbour and airport, ferry tickets, surfboard transfers. It’s all done, he’s always got someone there to meet you. Everything went so smoothly. It would have to be the best value property we have ever stayed in.
