Compared with other Songtsam hotels, the Lijiang branch has less exterior scenery, but the interior is still up to par, quiet, elegant and comfortable. Sitting in the public lobby, you can see the greenery and swimming pool outside the window, as well as the classical architecture. It feels slightly cool and comfortable in summer. There are not many dishes, but there is a potato stew rice that is very fragrant and delicious. I participated in the free morning meditation in the morning. Even though the Lijiang hotel is very crowded, I can still find inner peace in Songtsam Lijiang.

This hotel is located within walking distance to the old city of Lijiang. Since it is one of the tallest buildings in Lijiang, it allows a great view of the snow-capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The room itself is comfortable, but you can hear the people from the next room when they talk. The breakfast is good, but it is the same every day. The hotel boats a swimming pool and sauna, but when I asked about them, I was told they are closed.

The reception service staff is very good. The hotel is very convenient to travel. When I went to stay on the first day, I encountered loud noises all night and stayed on the top floor. But in the morning I came down to change to a new room and considered the service to be good.

We stayed here for two days and the service was spectacular. The rooms were big and clean with all the amenities stated in the booking. The staff was super friendly in guiding us to the local eateries and even taking us around hotspots of Lijiang personally. The trip was spectacular and if we ever come back to lijiang, we’ll book this hotel again

A hotel with a view of the snow-capped mountains. This is my second time staying here. It is very cost-effective. It is very convenient to Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. The breakfast is also good. You can eat your favorite rice noodles. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the large terrace outside the restaurant.

This hotel is amazing. The boss is very nice and friendly, and he is also very efficient. He picked us up at the door without dragging our luggage. The hotel environment is also very good, and the room is also very nice. It is the style I like, and I can't find any faults. I just came to Lijiang and stayed in other hotels on the first day. Other hotels were more expensive than this one, but not as good as this one. There was also Tremella soup at night, and I slept very comfortably. If I hadn't booked other hotels in advance, I would have wanted to stay longer. When I left, he specifically asked us if we wanted to be sent there. That was a great experience. It was hard to choose between Intercontinental and Indigo. I personally prefer Indigo because of our experience in Japan and of the attention to detail. The prices were the same at both hotels and you can use the amenities of both, which is great. The breakfast at Intercontinental is better, the bacon in Indigo is Chinese style and it’s not a buffet breakfast. Need to order from the menu. I liked the unique story of Indigo about the Tea horse road. Intercontinental has a larger area, but both hotels are beautiful. The staff at Intercontinental speaks better English. The staff at both hotels were helpful and attentive. We got an upgrade in Indigo to a Mountain View room but only because first we got a wall view and I asked for an upgrade. Indigo is quiet and peaceful, but very close to Intercontinental. The rooms are huge and amazing. In the end, choose the hotel based on the room style you prefer. All the other stuff can be shared. Thank you for a nice stay in Lijiang. The location is convenient and quiet. We went to Hyatt and Pullman for dinner, but they were far from the Lijiang old town and it was difficult to find transportation, it took us 50 minutes to get didi, the hotels are just okay compare to Intercontinental and Indigo. I recommend staying at Intercontinental or Indigo for a satisfying experience. 👍

Just right outside the North gate of LiJiang ancient city, high price to value ratio…. Can take cab to the front door of hotel and don’t need to carry luggage inside the bumpy road of the ancient city. Room is spacious amidst it is next door to the popular tourist spot.

What a pleasant stay, breathtaking scenery and spectacular food options! The hotel is not that close to the airport, however it does make for a quieter stay. It’s located close to most attractions and restaurants which is a major plus. The staff are definitely welcoming and the hotel for sure foreign friendly. This was my 3rd time staying in this chain and I have to say everything was in place. The carpets, bedding, linens and couches were clean. I was surprised by how spacious our room was for the price I paid. The food was delicious for sure and as usual you had plenty to choose from. If I was to nitpick, maybe the cutlery and milk could more often be topped up, and the shower door was leaking slightly but this is just me being a ‘Karen’. WHope you all also have a wonderful stay here too.
