Hotels near Sifang Temple Fair in Lijiang

The external environment of the B&B is quite nice. The rooms are just okay. They are not as nice as the pictures. I wanted to experience this kind of duplex so I booked it. Fortunately, the price was very cheap. The boss was very kind and called in advance to ask what time he would arrive. He also came out to help with luggage. He led the way and chose one of the two rooms for me. However, the house was a bit old and the door locks were broken. There was only one hanging chain. The stairs were very narrow and short and not very convenient to go up and down. The hygiene was poor, some carpets were not cleaned, and there were spider webs on the roof. But I only stayed for one night and the price was cheap, so it was okay.

We had a lovely and amazing stay at Nilv. The staff and boss were very friendly and approachable. The boss gave helpful recommendations on where to visit and what to eat around there. The lady staff even informed us that if we were first time in such cold and dry weather conditions we need to hydrate ourselves as our nose could bleed. Such warmth touched us ♥️ As for the facilities, we loved the aesthetically designed surroundings. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the toilet is perfect for us as it comes with a toilet bowl that has a seat warmer and bidet system. This is especially helpful in such a cold weather 👍 The location is near Zhongyi Market place and you don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. However, there's one thing to inform those travellers who want to stay within Lijiang ancient city, and that's the taxis and private hires aren't allowed inside, so it's best to find an accom that's near the perimeter so you don't drag your luggage over long distances, or have the hotel arrange a small vehicle to pick you up at the main road. Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay here, thank you!!

One of my favourite Intercon accommodation! The location is very ideal, the compound is beautiful with nice landscaping. You could relax just walking around the hotel compound. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, toiletries could be more wide ranging. I didn’t try the food as breakfast wasn’t included in the price but there are many good options outside of the hotel. Most importantly, the service of the staff here is amazing! I want to thank this lady (I didn’t get her name) at the reception who referred me to the concierge for the booking of the tickets to the YuLong Snow mountain. The concierge, Nicholas Bun was really helpful with the booking of tickets, which has to be purchased at 8pm sharp, first come first serve. I didn’t have right app to do it so he helped us totally with it and even provided me with oxygen tank. Their service extended to beyond just their responsibility, stay here, you will get all the help you need!

Hotel service: The B&B is located halfway up the hillside of the ancient city. The B&B proactively arranged tricycle drivers to help carry the suitcases from the entrance of the ancient city to the second floor of the B&B. I didn’t have to work hard to get there and back, so considerate! There is also a flower cake reception, which is delicious! Facilities: Everything you need: air conditioning, projection, bath, shower, ambient lighting, hot water bottle, hair dryer, etc. The bed in the room is clean and hygienic. Environment: Located in the middle of the ancient city, it is prosperous but quiet at night. It only takes two or three minutes to walk to the center of the ancient city. There is a bonfire party in the evening, and there is everything to eat, drink, play and buy.

Good location only 3 minutes walk to Lijiang bus station and 1 km away from the old town, very helpful staff contacting via the WeChat. The free upgraded room I got at the first day was great but the room I booked on the last day was closed to the wooden stairs so it quite noisy all night till the early morning. They also provided a small group day tour to Jade dragon snow mountain and Blue Moon valley, the driver can’t speak English but he and the hotel’s owner help me a lot.

It was impressive to see him keep trying even though it must have been difficult to communicate because he was a foreigner. Everyone is very kind and pleasant. Also, the accommodation is quiet, comfortable, and clean. He plays card games and plays guitar for me who is bored. Also, I spared no effort to help my trip. I would like to thank you again for this review.

Splendid stay if you want a superb view of the ancient city and snow mountain. Fresh local fruits are offered for free daily at the lobby counter - fresh and juicy, and FREE! The homestay is run by a bunch of youngsters who are very enthusiastic. They have a tea session where they serve you tea and chit chat about life and everything under the sun, making you feel blend in, warm and welcomed. There is a play pen on the second floor, good for kids. The staff are also very welcoming about families bringing kids there. Staff will go the extra mile to meet your whimps and fancies, explaining as clear as possible on everything you are uncertain of. Loved the stay very very much, will definitely want to revisit again in the near future.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel, transit hotel for our 2 days 1 night trip to Lugu Lake and Shangri-la and 2 nights for ancient town and Yulong snow mountain trip. Hotel location very convenient, in ancient city and only 3 mins walk to exit, easy for chartered pick up. Rooms are clean and comfortable with free self service laundry. Host Xiao Shi is very friendly and helpful, let us leave luggages at the hotel for our return stay, also help us to sort out our tickets for Yulong Snow Mountain and help engage Shangri-la hotel to change our hotel booking. Host even prepared free goodies bag for our day tour to Yulong Snow Mountain, superb and excellent services. Highly recommended hotel in Lijiang ancient city 👍👍👍

Choose to stay here because its a new 5stars hotel in the area. It is a really mixed feeling about this hotel. Let me list down the pros/cons. Pro: - right above lijiang ancient town - bed and duvet are super comfortable - they have bidet and heated floor!! 👍🏻 - room interior is beautiful and well equipped. So many free goodies. - the view from breakfast area is AMAZING. On good days You can see the mountain from there - their butler service is SUPER amazing! THANK U LI JIAHAO (and friends!!) for you excellent service during our stay. He is so fast, reliable and attentive. You all are the highlight of my stay in this hotel👍🏻 Cons: - its a physical challenge right from you get of your car. its above lijiang ancient town, so check in/out, go to ancient town or back to the hotel you have to climb/down stairsss. Travel with little kids or elderly? Avoid!! - unstable hot water for shower. The average weather was 1c during our stay, to shower with lukewarm water is a nightmare. - its a really small hotel more like guest house, and our room is near busy street that is very noisy! I can hear car honking even at midnight and as early at 6am😭. - breakfast is average - it was my birthday during my stay. The hotel did not give any attention at all, not even a birthday note, let alone a little cake. Our butler help my husband went buy cake late at night so I can have a little celebration 😅😅 - in my opinion it is more suitable to be called 4stars hotel. And price is too high I expect more benefits like any other 5stars hotels, yet other 5stars hotel price is 1/3 less (beside Amandayan obviously) compare to this hotel. Conclusion: I enjoyed my stay. But will not return here for my next trip.

It was an excellent and relaxing trip. the Boutique Inn where I stayed for 8 days was fantastic; the owner was very helpful and helped me to arrange local attractions. he also ensured that I was safe since I was alone travelling to Lijiang. The Inn where I stayed was very safe and the people were very friendly. I will book the same Inn to stay again next year as I have plans to visit Shangalila. Yunnan is such a zen, relaxing, with great scenic and no air pollution! :)
