Hotels near Qiyi Street in Lijiang

This place is perfect for people who want to stay inside the ancient city without the noise. It’s situated in a quiet alley next to one of the most happening street. Do add the host on WeChat before arriving and arrange a pick-up from main road, as it’s quite confusing navigating inside the ancient city if you're a first timer. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stays here, it's so conveniently amazing.

Very convenient location about a 1-minute walk from Sifang Square. The main Wuyi Street is a short walk north, and the other big street Qiyi is a short walk south. Room was clean and the staff very helpful. No English is spoken, but I speak some Chinese and the staff can add you on wechat to communicate and share locations. The staff upgraded me, and the room was nice, clean and quiet—despite the very central location. Location could be a bit hard to find the first time, but the Trip.com app opened up Baidu maps for me and led me straight to one of the hotel entrances, though it wasn’t the main one (was just 10m west of the main one). I called the number and the staff guy came right over, so no problem. Other reviewers also say the staff can come guide you over, so you could also try that.

We had a lovely and amazing stay at Nilv. The staff and boss were very friendly and approachable. The boss gave helpful recommendations on where to visit and what to eat around there. The lady staff even informed us that if we were first time in such cold and dry weather conditions we need to hydrate ourselves as our nose could bleed. Such warmth touched us ♥️ As for the facilities, we loved the aesthetically designed surroundings. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the toilet is perfect for us as it comes with a toilet bowl that has a seat warmer and bidet system. This is especially helpful in such a cold weather 👍 The location is near Zhongyi Market place and you don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. However, there's one thing to inform those travellers who want to stay within Lijiang ancient city, and that's the taxis and private hires aren't allowed inside, so it's best to find an accom that's near the perimeter so you don't drag your luggage over long distances, or have the hotel arrange a small vehicle to pick you up at the main road. Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay here, thank you!!

Hotel service: The B&B is located halfway up the hillside of the ancient city. The B&B proactively arranged tricycle drivers to help carry the suitcases from the entrance of the ancient city to the second floor of the B&B. I didn’t have to work hard to get there and back, so considerate! There is also a flower cake reception, which is delicious! Facilities: Everything you need: air conditioning, projection, bath, shower, ambient lighting, hot water bottle, hair dryer, etc. The bed in the room is clean and hygienic. Environment: Located in the middle of the ancient city, it is prosperous but quiet at night. It only takes two or three minutes to walk to the center of the ancient city. There is a bonfire party in the evening, and there is everything to eat, drink, play and buy.

It was an excellent and relaxing trip. the Boutique Inn where I stayed for 8 days was fantastic; the owner was very helpful and helped me to arrange local attractions. he also ensured that I was safe since I was alone travelling to Lijiang. The Inn where I stayed was very safe and the people were very friendly. I will book the same Inn to stay again next year as I have plans to visit Shangalila. Yunnan is such a zen, relaxing, with great scenic and no air pollution! :)

The B&B room is the same as the picture. The owner is very nice. I traveled with my husband. The room has air conditioning and I sleep very comfortably. It’s quite cold here at night. I can’t imagine how cold it would be without air conditioning. It’s relatively quiet here. I’m very happy. I like this kind of atmosphere. It feels like the atmosphere in my hometown when I was a child. Pedestrians are in twos and threes, leisurely and leisurely. It is the most satisfying B&B for me during the entire trip. I am happy! Recommended!

Location was great: Within Lijiang Ancient City and just a 5-min walk to the main road. Stayed during winter season and was glad to know that hot water was consistent. Room was cleaned up daily in the 4 days we stayed there to explore Lijiang and the surrounding areas. Breakfast provided was hearty with a good variety. Reception area is also conveniently located beside a cafe so you can also enjoy a cuppa over breakfast. Shoutout to the staff who were friendly and responded to our queries in a timely manner. They also helped to link us up to a local tour agency that helped us out with a Jade Dragon Snow Mountain day-trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was despite us not having a local Chinese number and only having WeChat as the only communication tool. All in all, really enjoyed our stay here at Songzhuju (松竹居) and will recommend it to my friends and family who are looking to explore Lijiang.

It was impressive to see him keep trying even though it must have been difficult to communicate because he was a foreigner. Everyone is very kind and pleasant. Also, the accommodation is quiet, comfortable, and clean. He plays card games and plays guitar for me who is bored. Also, I spared no effort to help my trip. One of my favourite Intercon accommodation! The location is very ideal, the compound is beautiful with nice landscaping. You could relax just walking around the hotel compound. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, toiletries could be more wide ranging. I didn’t try the food as breakfast wasn’t included in the price but there are many good options outside of the hotel. Most importantly, the service of the staff here is amazing! I want to thank this lady (I didn’t get her name) at the reception who referred me to the concierge for the booking of the tickets to the YuLong Snow mountain. The concierge, Nicholas Bun was really helpful with the booking of tickets, which has to be purchased at 8pm sharp, first come first serve. I didn’t have right app to do it so he helped us totally with it and even provided me with oxygen tank. Their service extended to beyond just their responsibility, stay here, you will get all the help you need!

Outstanding. The friendliest owners are just the icing on the cake here. The hotel is located in the center of Lijiang Ancient town, perfectly nestled away from the parts that can get too noisy at hight. The owners helped us locate PCR testing spots, book some attractions online and with many other inquiries we had. The terrace on the roof has an amazing view of the whole town. The only problem with the hotel is, it's so comfortable and quiet it'll make you want to spend the whole day in your room 😉
