I felt really sad to leave this place. The accommodation was amazing from the moment we stepped in. The front desk area already offers so much. The pets for the kids to play and roaming free is an experience. We were about to book intercontinental but I’m so glad that I did not! Our stay here was amazing, the room decor and bathroom. The beds were comfortable, shower and toilets were clean and very luxurious. The rooftop breakfast area by the pool, is a sight to see always looking over at the Yulong mountain. I think the accommodation tried its best to give the guests the best possible experience of Lijiang from its location, as much fun as the whole family enjoyed it, we are very sad to leave. Lijiang is magical, and Paralloge enhanced it for us. It’s in a quieter area of the ancient town, but it seemed the most convenient to get to with luggage and by ourselves. Although we did not have to take the luggage, we had a butler to help take it for us and communicating with us and helping us with whatever we needed at all times. Our friend who was at breakfast and afternoon tea who spoke really good English, very helpful and nice to have a chat with. It’s not hard to communicate with anyone. Everyone was lovely and smiling always. I could go on about every moment we loved, but it would be an essay. We will come again ♥️

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming—they came out to meet me, helped carry my luggage, and although my room wasn’t ready due to my early arrival, they invited me to rest at the concierge area. They even served me some food and chatted with me about my trip. It felt incredibly genuine—they weren’t intrusive, just sincerely interested in helping make my journey smoother. I hadn’t realized that I needed to book tickets in advance for Yulong Snow Mountain, but they quickly stepped in to help. They guided me through setting up the local app, explained the ticketing process, and offered to assist in securing the tickets when they became available that evening. All the while, they kept serving tea—generous and kind throughout. While they prepared the room, I took a walk around the town. They created a WeChat group chat to stay in touch, which was a very efficient way to communicate. Once the room was ready, they notified me, and I was able to check in and rest. The room itself had a charming, traditional style—efficiently designed and nicely decorated. There were thoughtful amenities like a humidifier and even free beer. The only thing that felt slightly missing was a fridge, but with the cool weather, it wasn’t really necessary. My room opened onto a shared balcony that offered a spectacular view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Staying in the ancient city meant I could also see the town from the rooftop—a truly breathtaking perspective. On a clear morning, I caught a glimpse of the snow mountain at sunrise, and it was magical. Another highlight of the stay was how knowledgeable the staff were when it came to local food and café recommendations. They suggested a variety of places—some tucked away, some more popular—and every single one was spot on. Whether it was a cozy café for a slow morning or a great spot for dinner, their suggestions never disappointed. It really added to the richness of the experience, as I got to enjoy not just the sights, but also the tastes of the city. Thanks to the hotel staff, I managed to secure the Snow Mountain tickets without stress. They were incredibly efficient and clearly experienced in helping guests navigate local logistics. Throughout my stay, they continued to offer heartfelt service—serving fruit at the front desk, preparing hearty breakfasts, and always greeting me with warmth. On my final day, they once again went above and beyond. It was Qingming Festival, and getting a taxi was difficult, with most drivers unavailable. The staff quickly arranged for one of their own drivers to take me to the train station—no hesitation, just pure professionalism and care. This stay wasn’t just about comfort—it was about the warmth and hospitality that made it feel like I was among friends. Truly a unique and heartwarming experience.

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of the Ancient City Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The location was absolutely perfect – situated right in the center of the area, it was a hub of activity during the day, making it easy to explore. As the sun set, the place transformed into a lively spot brimming with music and vibrant nightlife. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining options nearby, which were abundant and diverse. Impressively, we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner as late as 11 pm, which added to the convenience and charm of the area. The hotel staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and efficient check-in process. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, offering us a variety of tea upon arrival – a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Their open and warm approach truly made us feel at home. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the facilities were equally delightful. What stood out was their attention to detail – we were greeted with a welcoming fruit basket and premium beauty products in our room, which added a luxurious feel to our experience. Given that the hotel is located on a hill, the staff's assistance with our luggage was greatly appreciated and made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. Overall, our stay in the ancient city was enriched by this wonderful hotel. With so many accommodation options available in the area, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, perfect location, and thoughtful amenities. My friend & I stayed here for 4 days and we loved it. We came in Feb and the weather was chilly. We really appreciate that the room has a well functioning heater, clean toilet & clean fresh sheets with lovely pillows too! The staff & owner of this inn are so friendly & helpful they make our stay such a pleasant one! Oh the owner’s pet dog, Xiao Bai, is also a star, making sure all guests are welcome! Highly recommend 👍🏻

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Meiluolanting in Lijiang was absolutely fantastic! We arrived without any prior tour bookings, but the innkeeper was incredibly patient and helpful. Despite the language barrier, he took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the area, including how to reach scenic spots and even arranged our transportation. Every day, after long outings, we were welcomed back with delightful Lijiang black tea and pu’er tea, which was a lovely touch. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, making it easy to explore numerous souvenir shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Our room was impeccably clean, and daily housekeeping ensured our comfort. We enjoyed a private balcony with stunning views of the ancient city and the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain in the distance. The overall ambiance of the hotel provided a superb ”zen” vibe that enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang Old Town. You won't be disappointed!

This is my first time in Lijiang. Mr. Andy contact me days before we arriving from Kuala Lumpur to arrange for pick up at train station. But due to my WeChat aps error, we go to the hotel by DiDi and he picked us from the entrance and helped us with the bags as the old city not accessible direct by car. While we were checking in he made us tea, which was really nice. The hotel is very beautiful, just in the center of Lijiang Old Town. You can go out and stroll. The room and environment is beautiful, comfortable and clean and also all the essential are there. The whole staff of the hotel were really nice and always there for me for all the service that I need especially Mr. Andy. He taking care of us. He helped me reserving a trip to the snow mountain & Tiger Leaping Gorger. Mr. Andy led us to the meeting point in the morning. Very good of him. Mr. Andy arrange driver to send us to the train station on our last day in Lijiang. I highly recommended staying at this hotel and will never regret the experience. Villa is very spacious, hotel’s environment is nice and quiet. Staffs are friendly, responsive and professional. By car, approximately 15 mins to Lijiang Ancient Town, 30 mins to Railway station, 40 mins to Yulong snow mountain. One of the room has the amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Can take Didi from the side road, not necessary to take buggy to the main lobby. As the place is huge, buggy might take a while to arrive. House-keeping staffs have initiative. The toilet light was faulty and couldn’t be turned off and the drainage system in the sinks and bathroom wasn’t draining the waste water fast enough. When I returned to the villa in the evening, they were fixed even before I informed house keeping.

When I pushed open the carved wooden door, the hustle and bustle of the ancient city was suddenly filtered out by seven points. The ginger flower tea handed by the housekeeper was filled with the sweetness of the melted water from the snow-capped mountains, and the rhythm of the copper bells on the eaves was exactly the frequency of the heartbeat after slowing down. The designer of Kuan Shang probably knows the philosophy of ”hiding”. The white walls and plain tiles hide the Naxi courtyard into the texture of the ancient city. I love the terrace at three o'clock in the afternoon. The wind kneads the clouds into marshmallows and piles them on the shoulders of the snow-capped mountains. The aroma of hand-brewed coffee mixed with the clinking sound of the silversmith shop downstairs dances on the half-turned pages of the book. The housekeeper brought freshly baked flower cakes, and the sound of the puff pastry falling on the celadon plate was even more beautiful than the night songs in the ancient city. After nightfall, watch the stars in the quiet courtyard, and the old wooden beams stretch their wrinkles in the warm yellow light and shadow. Suddenly I realized that the real sense of relaxation is nothing more than allowing myself to waste time - letting the moonlight of the century-old city flow over the tile cat ridge beasts, over the purple pottery tea cups, and finally into the mobile phone that I forgot to lock the screen. Tips: · There are only 18 rooms in the three courtyards, which is very private · It takes only 8 minutes to walk to Sifang Street. Such a wide place is suitable for temporarily depositing the soul at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, waiting for time to grow moss marks.

More than just a host, Mr. Hao became my personal guide and friend, sharing authentic local experiences that most tourists never discover. What sets Mr. Hao apart is his incredible knowledge of Lijiang. He knows every hidden gem in the Old Town and gave me perfect recommendations. Thanks to him, I enjoyed the most amazing local dishes like 野生菌hotpot that I would have never found on my own. The daily Pu’er tea sessions were absolute highlights. Each evening, Mr. Hao would invite me to share freshly brewed tea while telling fascinating stories about Lijiang’s history and culture. These moments of genuine connection turned a simple accommodation into a truly immersive experience. The house itself is charming, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located – quiet enough to relax but just steps away from all the action. The comfortable bed and excellent WiFi were much appreciated after long days of exploring. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep – if you want insider knowledge, warm hospitality, and authentic cultural experiences – Mr. Hao’s guesthouse is perfect.

This was so far the best stay we had in China! The hotel is new, very clean and in a great and calm location just 5 min walk from the old town. The room was big and very comfortable with great heating system and amenities, the bed was comfortable and toilet clean and big. Shower was great with hot water and good pressure. The breakfast was delicious, with many choices from western and chinese cuisine. The laundry room has 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, maybe considering the size of hotel would be great to add more, but still we managed to take care of our clothes. The hotel staff is professional, provided us daily everything we need in the room. The room was cleaned every day. Everyday there was a new fruit plate in our room which we enjoyed a lot. Simply the best!
