In the pulse place of the Old Town of Lijiang, adjacent to the landmark water wheel and the babbling jade river, a resort secret place integrating Naxi culture, snow mountain spirituality and modern aesthetics - Lyon | Hexi · Happy Food and Drinks · Snow Mountain Sightseeing Resort Hotel is interpreting the true meaning of "Oriental Slow Life" in a leisurely manner. This is not only a place for rest during the journey, but also a poetic space for awakening the body and mind, and conversing with nature.
**Mountains and waters serve as curtains, and ancient cities are neighbors**
The hotel is located at the entrance of the north gate of the Old Town of Lijiang, and you can walk 5 minutes to the bustling fireworks in Sifang Street, but turn around and enjoy a quiet seclusion. Each guest room takes the Yulong Snow Mountain as the natural picture frame, and the panoramic french window will take a panoramic view of the majesty of Jinshan under the sun and the nimbleness of clouds on the snow top. Pushing open the window in the morning, the light mist envelops the blue tiled eaves of the ancient city; As night falls, the Milky Way echoes with the ancient city lights, weaving a romantic narrative unique to Lijiang.
**Eating and drinking in moderation, the way to nourish the heart**
The core of the "Hexi · Food and Drink Festival" brand runs through the hotel experience, with the concept of "eating according to the times, nourishing the body with food", creating a unique dining philosophy. The restaurant strictly selects plateau organic food materials, and combines Naxi traditional flavor with the wisdom of solar term health preservation: in summer, it launches matsutake Steamed chicken in casserole with wild mushrooms hot pot, in winter, it uses black pottery pot to simmer cured ribs warm soup, supplemented by flower tea and fruit wine brewed by local roses. The top-level observation tea room invites tea artists to perform the Pu'er tea ceremony, accompanied by the twilight of the snow capped mountains, allowing taste buds and visuals to enjoy a feast of scenery together.
**Oriental Aesthetics, Craftsmanship Space**
The hotel design is inspired by the Naxi residential style of "three squares and one screen wall", with wooden structures paired with Dongba text reliefs, and decorated with handmade tie dye and Dongba paper lamps in the corridors. The 14 guest rooms are named after the elegant charm of the Book of Songs, featuring custom-made tatami tea mats, natural stone bathtubs, and underfloor heating systems, infused with Eastern Zen in a minimalist Wabi Sabi style. There is a boundless bathing pool on the star terrace on the top floor, where you can enjoy the snow in winter and the stars in summer, enjoying the double gifts of the ancient city and snow mountain.
**Cultural healing, immersive experience**
The hotel delves deep into local culture and launches a series of customized activities: learn ancient pictographic writing from Dongba inheritors, participate in Naxi ethnic bonfire parties in the courtyard, or book a private guide to visit the hidden villages at the foot of the snow capped mountains. The butler team thoughtfully planned the "light hiking+wild luxury afternoon tea" route, taking guests through snow capped mountains and meadows to taste the natural wilderness in an uninhabited area.
Lyon | Hexi · Food and Drink Festival · Snow Mountain Scenic Resort Hotel redefines the dimension of high-end vacation with the cultural thickness of a city and the natural spirituality of a mountain - it does not provide standardized services, only brews Lijiang memories worth cherishing.
"Choosing to stay at Hixi Hotel Lijiang was absolutely the right decision. Everything, from the facilities and environment to the service, was impeccable. The hotel's location is super convenient; there are restaurants and a supermarket just over a hundred meters away, and it's only a six or seven-minute walk to the Old Town. The small rooftop garden is lovely and relaxing. On the day we checked in, the weather was beautiful, and a staff member suggested we go up to the roof to take photos – the full panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains was truly stunning. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. What was even more thoughtful was that the hotel provides self-service laundry machines with both washing and drying functions. Since we were leaving early the next morning for an excursion (they even helped arrange a shared car to the snow mountains) and hadn't had time to do our laundry (we had accumulated a pile of dirty clothes after many days of travel), the front desk staff, both the young man and the young woman, were incredibly kind. They helped us store our luggage and even washed our pile of dirty clothes for us! It was such a considerate gesture, truly a beyond 5-star service. This is definitely a treasure hotel that I highly recommend."
