The hotel is really near the North gate. It is just a two minutes walk from the main road. Cassie our super host helped us to book our transports. The cost from the hotel to the railway is 60 yuan for a van that can accommodate 5-6 people. Cassie also helped us book the JDSM tickets + lijiang impression show with private transport for RM 355 per person and helped us book a transport ( for 5-7 pax) to ferry us around for a day tour of Dali for 700 yuan. Highly recommended hotel if you want to be in the ancient city and not too far away from the main road. Personalised butler service with 小勇 was great! WeChat group was set up before arrival and he helped with arranging the free transport from Lijiang train station to 南门1号 where he is there with trolley to help us with the luggages as the road in the ancient city is bumpy. Super grateful for great service where he went above and beyond working hours to fix up our needs and also introduce scenic routes within the ancient city and recommending restaurants and shopping tips around. He also helped to book our tickets to 玉龙雪山 and 丽江千古情 show. We all loved the animal interaction at the hotel. Hotel has a 1 year plus samoey mixed golden dog name xixi which is friendly and playful. 2 alpacas, brown one is male and white one is female who is more shy. 2 rabbits and 2 peacocks. There are washing machines and dryer for ur laundry needs too. 2 game station. Gym. Library. Pool table. Tea houses. KTV room was good! Tea break and breakfast was also nice. The flat white was legit.

Before making the booking, I was quite skeptical of all the rave reviews (honestly, they all look like AI-generated). I am so glad that I went ahead with my booking in the end. The reviews were true! LaMaison was truly the highlight of our trip! Arrival: If you arrive in a standard sedan car, you can be driven to the doorstep of the hotel. We arrived in a 19-seater tour bus and were dropped off a short walk away. That was no problem at all as we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The hotel manager/butler A-Liu contacted us beforehand and arrived right on time to help ferry all the luggage in a cart. Location: Excellent. With LaMaison located at the edge of the Old Town, we enjoyed both the convenience of exploring the Old Town on foot and a peaceful and quiet environment. Rooms: As mentioned by the other reviewers – the rooms are new, comfortable, beautiful and big (for the price). In fact the whole hotel was beautiful - every corner was photo-worthy. Service: Our hotel butler, A-Liu was contactable and responsive via wechat. He addressed all our questions and needs promptly. He also offered us an upgrade so that my teenager could have a private area in the room and a comfortable bed instead of just an extra mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at LaMaison very much. The value was unbeatable. As part of the room price, we were offered daily breakfast, afternoon tea, supper and drop off at the train station at the end of the stay. I had a great stay at Lijiang Pu Zhi Designer Hotel HOLIDAY VILLA, located at the South Gate of The Old Town of Lijiang. It’s a convenient spot for exploring the old town, and the staff was attentive and very helpful with our luggage. The hotel offers a modern touch with whole house intelligent control, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the heartwarming breakfast and dessert they served. The hotel is also not far from the airport, adding to its convenience.

They also allow me to check out late due to my flight will be departed on 17.30 - The room is so nice and big enough - They can not speak english but they know very well on how to communicate to me with effective language translator machine.

Words can’t even describe how great the level of hospitality we have received on this trip. It felt like China was so warm and welcoming, I want to introduce all my friends and family to visit Lijiang because of this experience. Shout out to one of the boss, Xiang Zi, he’s now our dear friend! I have booked 2 of the bigger rooms, the view was beautiful, well furnished, spacious and clean. The house keeping was good and trustworthy. The cafe has decent breakfast, the drinks are world class. I kid you not, the special drink menu is better than your CHAGEE, and I love CHAGEE. Their barista has been well trained, no wonder my husband speaks highly of the coffee he ordered. The inn also provide photography services, you can just engage their service and avoid the nearby big photography service. I find that outside photography is a scam. Paid about 1300yuan for the whole thing, only had 7 photoshopped photos and 30 other low res original photos. I don’t even like the photoshopped ones. We arrived late at night and had no problem getting to our beautiful room. There were ppl who helped us with our luggages, and we just walked 5mins to our cosy inn. The place is an ancient city, so you get to experience living in an ancient city, with modern furnishings. The view from the room is different and intriguing, the view at the cafe is romantic and calming. There are many hidden spots in this inn that we stayed in, every corner is a photo opportunity. The tea at the reception was the best I have ever tasted. Xiang Zi is a very cultured man, he makes tea, and he make sure everyone knows how to serve tea. We had so much fun here, we even extended another day here because of the owner. I highly recommend this place, not because I’m bias, but because for the price we paid, we have received toooooooo much. We are so grateful for everything for the team has done for us. From providing oxygen when we want to head up the mountain, to doing us a favour to help us to book the snow mountain tickets, to paying for our transport in advance, to helping us find our way and making sure we are safe. We are looking forward to host Xiang Zi when he visit Singapore!

Had 6 wonderful nights stay at the hotel. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to Lijiang ancient town. The hotel is built with ancient architecture but the interior is very modern. The environment is peaceful and the hotel overlook the entire old ancient city. The view is breathtaking. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The room is equipped with heated flooring and mattress. The hotel manager, 小唐 is very thoughtful. He always check in on us to ensure that we are comfortable and ensure that our requests are met. He always serves us tea, chat with us whenever he is free and explain China history which was very interesting. He personally cut fruits for us which was so nice of him. When we were out the whole day, he will turn on the aircon in our room to ensure that we come back to a warm room after a long day. It’s our first trip to China and we have very good impression of the country because of 小唐. His service is top notch 👍 and the gold standard for the hospitality industry. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Lijiang. Yunnan is such a beautiful place and the people are kind and warm.
