This inn is right in the LiJiang ancient city. It's a very value for money inn. It's not a full hotel that most foreigners expect. Such inns are very common in the ancient city.
It's a simple clean room, renovated to modern tourist class standard. There will be no culture shock for foreigners to stay in this inn.
It is a good experience to stay in a typical 'chinese' courtyard style room.
The owner is always there to assist with anything you are concerned with.
The water heater provides hot water for a much needed shower. There is an overhead heater to warm the shower area during cold days.
The toilet bowl is standard modern sitting type.
There is electric bed heater/warmer to keep you warm during cold nights.
As with most china hotels, the TV is almost useless. It does not allow you to watch Free CCTV national channels. It is an app based TV that you need to subscribe(pay$) to watch movies or programmes. It is Okay, as most tourists don't have time to watch Chinese news or watch Chinese programmes anyway.

The room was big and amenities were pretty enough but the rest room has a weird smelling that I had to keep it close all day.
The owners are pretty busy, tried to add wechat them but it took almost one day to respond

The B&B was booked long in advance, the price was affordable, the B&B environment was very warm, the room lights were beautiful, there was a beautifully maintained courtyard, and there was a very warm viewing terrace on the second floor. The landlord was very nice and upgraded our room. We stayed at his house for 3 nights in Lijiang. The location was also very good, just near the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town and very close to Yikeshu. It was also convenient for early group pick-up.
