Beautifully restored boutique hotel. The room are all intelligent controlled with heated floor. Very useful in cold winter. Each room is tastefully designed.
We are served by Da Cheng who is very helpful. He take the initiative to change my parent room from a duplex to a single floor room as my parent have problem climbing up stairs.
View from the breakfast area was fantastic with the view of the whole old town.

The service was excellent. Our personal manager went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. He provided us lots of useful tips, also helped us arrange all tours in Lijiang, kept us away from non-legitimate tour operators. Overall we had an awesome experience here, and we'd love to come back again.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel situated on the edge inside the old town. The rooms are quite small but nicely decorated and clean. The owners, who seem to be a group of male friends, are very kind and helpful. They don't speak English but this wasn't an issue. The only negative was that our room's balcony was situated behind the public balcony, which sort of defeated the purpose of paying for a private balcony. However overall the hotel was very good and good value. Pick up from the hotel and afternoon were included in the price and the owners did their best to help you take advantage of these services. Would book again.

During my Lijiang Shangrila trip on october 23rd to october 27th 2023, i stayed on 4 different hotels. Among 4 of them, this one is my least favorite.
Their officer is quite nice actually. They helped to pick up my luggage when i arrived, showed me the way to the hotel, and helped to bring my luggage to the parking area. Their service during afternoon tea session was also perfect.
The let down part comes from its price to value factor. This hotel has some rooms which their price are more expensive than 5 stars hotel. I have stayed in its most expensive room and the view is far from the pictures we saw in trip.com. their officer even not botheref to clean the room's window which becomes the specialty of this room. the best viewing area in this hotel is in its cafe, so if you still want to stay in this hotel just stay in its standard room and go to its cafe for picture.
It also doesnt provide breakfast before 8 AM. It's the house's policy but it just not suitable for me who need to move in the morning. Nobody can speak english so that it's quite challenging for me who can not speak chinese at all.
It was informed in trip.com that they provided "good bye" snack in the evening but during my stay they didnt offer it to me. When i asked about it, the officer said that it's not available anymore. I know it just a simple thing, but they need to update the newest information.
The other thing is parking area. It's not really closed with the hotel and the way from parking area to the hotel is not flat. The officer of this hotel will help you, but still, if you have many luggages you better think twice before staying inside the old town area.

The boss is very enthusiastic and the travel suggestions he gave are very useful! The hotel is located at a high point, and you can see the panoramic view of the ancient city from the room. The restaurant is highly recommended for taking photos and checking in. The breakfast and afternoon tea are very attentive and taste good. There are many bars just outside the hotel, so you don't have to worry about getting lost if you drink too much. Hahaha, when we left, the boss also helped us carry our luggage all the way. The service was great.
