Lijiang Ancient Town and Road Inn (Sifang Street, Mufu, Dayan Ancient Town)

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is nearby zhongyi market, so easy to catch bus number 101 to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It has a lot of restaurants too nearby. The hotel is an authentic naxi style with wooden decoration and ornaments and it is very beautiful. My room has bed heating, a big heater and additional heating from AC. We felt warm during our stay. The boss is very kind, they serve us tea and arrange the pickup from the main road which is very convenient because the road inside the ancient town is not good. When we checkout, they also kindly prepare the delivery to help us with the luggage. Thumbs up to big brother who help us bring the luggage! Overall will stay here again next time

It's so important to choose the right homestay! The location is excellent-after wandering the ancient town, you can walk back to the homestay. The room also has a heater. The guy was super nice and even helped book tickets for the snow-capped mountains and the "Eternal Love" show-the seats for "Eternal Love" were great too!! Both cleanliness and service were top-notch, and the value for money was amazing.

The best luck on this trip to Lijiang was choosing the right homestay! Its location is amazing-just a few minutes' walk to the core of the ancient town, yet it's quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. The housekeeper was super friendly, helping us plan our itinerary in advance and recommending authentic local snacks—no misses at all. The room was cozy and clean, with a wooden-style decor accented by Naxi ethnic accessories; it's incredibly photogenic! In the morning, pushing open the window reveals distant green mountains; at night, sitting in the courtyard drinking tea and chatting, you can look up at a sky full of stars-it's so soothing. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are all high-quality brands, with great attention to detail. It really feels like staying at a friend's place. Next time I come to Lijiang, I'll definitely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to travel!

This place was wonderful! The innkeepers were lovely and immediately welcomed us in to have tea and help arrange travel plans. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the courtyard area is cute and full of vibrant colors. The hotel is located within a group of small alleyways full of shops and restaurants. We contacted the hotel in advance and they helped carry our luggage from the drop off point to the hotel. Very kind and hospitable, highly recommend!

This inn doesn’t have daily housekeeping services so our room wasn’t cleaned. The owner said it’s like a hostel but I’m sure even hostels are cleaned everyday. Doesn’t look as fresh as the photos. Owner doesn’t speak English,but the assistant tries to help where ever possible with the translator. We booked 4 days in Advance and paid a much higher price(Hotel price)better to wait till day of check-in and pay hostel price which will be its actual value. Trip does have a price match policy so you can claim the difference. Make sure to take a screenshot. They have a washing machine in another hotel incase you are on a long holiday. We couldn’t find the hostel/inn easily since the name at the entrance doesn’t match the name listed on trips.
