The most unsatisfactory stay ever. They claimed to have upgraded my room type, but I ended up with a first-floor corner room. The window overlooked a parking alleyway and was filled with construction waste from the next door. Afternoon tea consisted of a flower cake and two small pears (not sweet). That's fine, but the problem was that I booked for two days, but on the second day, after returning from a trip, the bed was unmade and the used towels were still there. When I asked about extending my stay, they only took out the trash and provided disposable items. Only after I asked did they change it. The entrance is right by the Ancient City Administration Committee station, near the north gate of the Old Town. However, I signed up for a day tour, which was picked up the earliest and dropped off the latest. Traffic congestion around Lijiang Old Town was a real bummer. The Old Town was also incredibly crowded and noisy at night, with bar street performances that were all vulgar and loud. The Lijiang Old Town of yesteryear is gone, and I won't be back. My only memories are the consistently high-quality Huajiantang in the Old Town and the popular and affordable Tiantianxian restaurant across the street, which offers excellent value.

This is the first hotel we stayed in when we arrived in Yunnan. The location of the hotel is very good. Compared to the ancient city, it is very convenient to drive out or pick up for a day trip. The hotel is also very close to the ancient city, just a few minutes away. The owner is our fellow Tianjin native and is very talkative. His little dog is also very cute. Recommended!
