Fanchenli inn deserve beyond the best rating in every aspects.
Staff & Service: We received a warm welcome from the hotel owner and staff since the first step arrive to the hotel. The owner also sent the taxi to pick up us from the Lijiang railway station.
Location: the hotel located just 5 minute walk to the North gate of Lijiang ancient town (the giant waterwheel), and also surrounded by the convenient stores and restaurants. However, we enjoyed the quite and peaceful moment when we are in the hotel.
Room: The room is very comfortable with the clean and cozy decoration. All equipments are very-well functioned. Our room also have the balcony which allows us to enjoy the fresh air.
This is the first time for me and my family visited Lijiang, I will definitely come back and Fanchenli is definitely my first choice to stay. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends for sure.

Cozy hotel located outside of Lijiang Old Town (near Water Wheel) 10 min. by foot. Room was clean and comfortable, with all amenities provided. Bed and pillows were super comfortable.
Staff really excelled and went out of their way to make our stay memorable: providing restaurant and attractions recommendations, help w bookings, airport
drop-off, and complimentary fruit and oxygen cans for our trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Would definitely stay here again on a return visit.

We returned to Fanchenli after going to Tiger Leaping Gorge for a night, it felt like we were going back home with Ah Liu and Ah Bin greeting us the moment we entered. The familiar faces and warm greetings eased our strained knees after the treacherous hikes.
We used the washing machine and the sunny weather dried out clothes in a jiffy.
I would again highly highly recommend anyone to Fanchenli if you’re looking for a comfortable and heart warming stay!

Easily tops the best stay for my 9D Yunnan trip! My elderly parents enjoyed themselves thoroughly - good location, total convenience as there’s restaurants and convenience stores, and most importantly you can have the car drive up to the door step. It’s located just opposite Lijiang Old Town. Really clean, comfortable and service is excellent too! Everyone is so friendly and caring! 👍👍👍 Thank you so much!

Very beautiful lodging and very friendly host. Feels cost, they'll offer you tea an after a tiring day out. Enjoyed the chit chat with the amiable host and getting to know more about local culture. They are so kind people, strongly recommend this lodging.

Very beautiful guesthouse! Room looks really pretty. Host was friendly and very kind to pre-packed breakfast for us the night before as we were checking out very early the next day. Highly recommend this place!
