We love this place! It’s in the ancient city, just in the outskirts, so it’s nice and quiet. There is a lot to do around the place as well as many food joints to visit. The owner is lovely, doesn’t speak much English, but you can easily get around that by using WeChat; they are also very used to having foreign travellers. Nothing was too much for them. We upgraded to one of their better rooms which did not disappoint - the bed was really comfy, the bathroom really clean and even though there was no air conditioning, the room was nice and cool during the night. We loved it so much that we are coming back to relax for some more nights after further travels in Yunnan.
