From arrival, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel’s historic charm and peaceful vibe made it feel special.
Our room was huge with a private yard and bathtub plus a stunning view of a working farm! The first night, we were even invited to dine with them (so kind!). They offered a traditional cloth-dyeing experience and made us breakfast daily.
Every detail felt personal. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. 10/10 would absolutely stay again!Perfect if you love culture, nature, and genuine hospitality.

This guesthouse is nice. The view is amazing and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Shuhe ancient town is really good place to walk around, not so crowded and amazing place to eat and drink 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stayed here for three nights. Originally booked two room types, the owner was afraid that it would be troublesome for us to change rooms, so he upgraded the next two nights. The suitcases were heavy but he insisted on helping us move them. When we checked out, he sent us to the entrance of the ancient town. He was very welcoming, and the other ladies in the homestay were also very nice.
The room was large and clean, there was a small garden in the homestay, and the breakfast was delicious. I will stay here again next time I come to Lijiang!

The family room at this inn in Shuhe Ancient Town is definitely the perfect choice for our family trip! The room design is warm and full of Naxi style, with solid wood furniture and exquisite carved window lattices. The backyard is green and colorful, and there are two cute puppies, Dashun and Shijiu, who accompanied us to spend our leisure time in the inn.
What touched us most was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the boss's sister and brother - from helping us carry our luggage at the entrance of Shuhe Ancient Town to the room, to taking the initiative to introduce us to the tour routes. The original order did not include breakfast. In order to ensure that we would not be hungry while watching the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains the next day, the boss lady got up at 5 o'clock and prepared delicious rice noodles for us.
