Arro Khampa by Zinc Journey Lijiang

The hotel felt like a hidden gem within the city. Having just arrived from Diqing, I saw Aruo Khampa and thought it might have ******* connections. But upon entering the hotel, I discovered a whole other world. It's a Naxi-style courtyard with ******* decorations and cultural elements. Koi carp swim in the central pond, adding a touch of life. The front and back yards are also filled with lovingly tended potted plants. The overall atmosphere is tranquil. The staff, while diverse in ethnicity, maintain a smile, and chatting with them about their diverse ethnicities was incredibly informative. I also unexpectedly discovered the owner, a man with a rich history. The hotel is close to Shuhe Ancient Town, and the food at the B&B is excellent. You can dine on the second floor, and it's on par with the restaurants in the old town. I later learned that the chef is a local chef, and his cooking skills are quite impressive. The breakfast was especially memorable, with their signature fried rice noodles, which were even better than what we had the day before in the old town. My whole family loved the rare quiet and excellent, friendly service. There's a comfortable area in the center of the B&B for tea and conversation.

The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The twin room we stayed in had a slightly strong smell, like a wood-covered smell, but everything else was perfect.

It truly exceeded my expectations. I usually stay in five-star hotels when traveling with children, considering their safety and hygiene. This time in Lijiang, I wanted to try a homestay, so I blindly booked two rooms for two adults and two children. The front desk was very considerate and upgraded the room. The room was very quiet, clean, and refreshing. Even someone with a nervous breakdown who usually requires a lot of sleep, slept very well. The staff was very friendly, bringing fish food to feed the children every morning and giving them two small fish gifts when we left. We also saw a baby squirrel in the courtyard! I was so happy! Two days after leaving, I realized I had left my shampoo at the hotel, and the hotel was so thoughtful to send it back to me. I was so touched...

It's very close to Shuhe Ancient Town. The service was very attentive and the breakfast was delicious. I rented a car for three days and visited Baisha, Shuhe, and the Wilderness City. It was very convenient. The courtyard of the B&B is beautiful, and every corner is a scene.

Very beautiful Naxi style homestay, spent a super peaceful and happy day here, the staff in the store are very enthusiastic, the food is also very delicious, the boss lady also made tea for us, the tea is very fragrant!!! I thought it would be hard for vegetarians to find food in Lijiang, but I didn’t expect that this place also provides customized vegetarian meals❤️ The room is clean and tidy, the environment is beautiful, and what makes people miss most is the meticulous service and care of the manager Xiaohe, who is simply the spokesperson for Lijiang tourism!
