The hotel is really near the North gate. It is just a two minutes walk from the main road. Cassie our super host helped us to book our transports. The cost from the hotel to the railway is 60 yuan for a van that can accommodate 5-6 people. Cassie also helped us book the JDSM tickets + lijiang impression show with private transport for RM 355 per person and helped us book a transport ( for 5-7 pax) to ferry us around for a day tour of Dali for 700 yuan. It was really a blessing to have Cassie around as she helped us with almost all the transport arrangement. Thank you so much Songzhuju and Cassie! Dear Cassie, we shall miss your hospitality 🥰🥰🥰

Convenient location in the ancient city
Room is clean and cosy
The hotel staff were very kind and helped to make arrangements to see yulong mountain which made things easy to plan as a foreigner
Also helped to recommend itinerary etc

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The place was beautiful, and Cassie, our host, was very kind and helpful. She arranged transport in advance and also spoke English. Our time at Songzhuju felt like a home. Thank you 🤩

Location perfect. Jalan sikit ada Chagee. Tempat nak tunggu Didi pun dekat je. Sampai2 hotel, host serves tea. Peramah 💕

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us carry the bags up and down the hill. The place was magnificent and really in the old town of lijiang

Lovely hotel in perfect location. The two managers were exceptionally hospitable to us at all times. Offered tea and flower cakes on arrival and had another tea appreciation indulgence following day.
Although weather was cool, was offered an extra doona and kindly warmed up my room before bedtime.
Breakfast was delicious and coffee shop had the best coffee as a supplement.
Very clean around and the courtyard had a nice ambiance with perfect daytime sunlight to bask in. Luggage and navigation assistance was offered for arrival and departure which was a blessing considering Lijiang’s confusing streets.
Thank you for a most memorable and comfortable stay!

Great place, convenient to the north gate. Except that the toilet is abit cold during winter. Owner is super friendly and helpful, 5 stars for that.

Room is large and clean. Hotel is excellent and service is fantastic. The owners were very helpful with our requests. Location was very good right at the edge of ancient town, easy access to the main road too.

It was a pleasant surprise to stumbled across this gem. The hotel was just situated inside the Li Jiang ancient town which makes it very convenient to travel and walk around the town even in the wee hours without the need to worry about taking didi!
The hotel staff has contacted us 4 days before to ensure our smooth arrival. The staff was very sweet, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs before, during and even after our stay.
She even assisted to recommend us some tours around Li Jiang and also when we were planning to travel up to Shangrila. The tours she recommended and assisted to book were all great! This has helped us tremendously to save our time research and plan on our own ☺️.
The room we booked is with private balcony, it has fantastic view and the room were clean and comfortable to stay.
Will definitely come back here next time and recommend to my friends and family of this place to stay if they ever plan to come to Li Jiang!
