Lijiang Mountain Lion Inn

The service really let this place down. When I arrived it seemed abandoned; there was music playing but no one in sight. After 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby, I heard another guest moving around upstairs, so asked them for help and they called the owner, who showed up a few minutes later. He was very erratic and chaotic, almost as if he were drunk but he just smelt of cigarettes. He quickly shoved me into my room, not apologetic at all, and disappeared before I could ask any questions. I had to ask the same guest to call him back again to ask for wifi and clean towels. The room looked clean at first but upon closer inspection was not (hairs and dirt in the bed, the bathroom just smells like urine). None of the towels were clean, so I asked for new towels and half of them also were'nt clean, so it took 3 attempts to finally get clean towels. Bathroom light was stupidly dim, and the door lock didn't work, so there was poor security. I'm never normally picky about these things but it was honestly not a pleasant or welcoming experience. The bed itself was comfortable, the location is good. But honestly, the rest of the stay wasn't great, so based on my experience I can't reccomend.
