Pros - hotel location very near to the most popular area of the old town (west gate). Small local mall within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. WiFi is fast. Hot shower pressure is strong. Room is clean, no smoking stench. Winter time the air conditioning provides hot air to warm the room.
Cons - only 1 lift to serve the hotel guests. The air conditioner can be quite noisy when turned on. Breakfast is cheap but not appetising, not even a hot pot of coffee is served.
Note - Very difficult to get online hailing taxi from Lijiang station to the old town area. I waited close to an hour for a ride. Best to prepare your own transport in advance.

This hotel deserves more than 3 stars ! Strategic location which is few minutes walking distance to Lijiang Old town. With a lot eateries and convenient stores at the surrounding. The hotel staff even upgraded our room to King Bed room. The room is fully equipped and the bed is comfortable.

To be fair, this Hanting is quite bad and not worth the price. I have stayed in many Hanting hotels, so Hanting is my first choice in Lijiang, but this time Hanting disappointed me. The equipment is old, the water from the top of the shower is not as much as the water from the bottom, the basin is small, and the water will spray out as soon as it is turned on, and the wifi cannot be connected, the network is extremely poor. The room is extremely small, etc. I won't complain about the other things one by one. Hanting is quite good, but avoid this one!

The price/performance ratio is quite high. Opposite is the entrance to the ancient city waterwheel. However, the unit facing the street is very noisy. Although earplugs are provided, I am not used to using them, so I am often woken up by car horns.

The photos are taken from the room's glass. There are only two disadvantages: it is noisy if the room is on the road. The horn is loud until midnight. This stay was very satisfying! The hotel is in a prime location, close to the city center and major attractions, with convenient transportation and abundant dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and check-in and check-out were very quick.
The room was spacious and bright, with a modern and simple decoration style, comfortable bedding, and a mattress with moderate hardness and softness, which made for a good sleep. The hygiene was impeccable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and toiletries were complete.
