What an incredible architecture design! Amandayan is a tranquil, zen oasis in the beautiful and very busy town from downstair. The service is Aman and Aman but quit lower than each other.
The rooms interior are normal with traditional but a great vibe with the big space and more.
Staff aren’t hand on and available at all times of the day and night and runs as other Aman.
Tea testing activity so much fun!! Truly a unique, special experience HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
But one problem in this stay is the guard of the back gate (if you wanna step down to the old town) he can’t remember me even though they got all the guest not over 20 persons, he can’t speak English and try to block me to come to inside anyway… no other staff there, so sad for Aman standard T_T and really sad for my life 😌

Located at the Lion Mountain oversees the Lijiang Old Town. Top notch service provided by the hotel team. Food in their Chinese restaurant is so good! Travel itenary has been planned by the hotel with VIP treatments. Definitely will visit again.

This was our first time to an Aman property and we were blown away by the hospitality and amenities. The staff went above and beyond to take care of our needs and even more so to make my husband’s birthday extra special. Now we want to try all the Aman properties! The property is beautiful almost like having your own Forbidden Palace and the location is excellent for exploring the Old Town. We will definitely recommend to friends and family!

The most worthwhile hotel in Lijiang, the service is very good. After checking in, the staff in each area will remember who you are, and will not be overly enthusiastic and very measured. Dining and SPA are all worth trying; the in-store activities are also a good experience. Dayan Amman is a unique place of tranquility in the hustle and bustle

The location is excellent, the hotel car will pick you up at the airport, and every shot you take is a beautiful view. The service is very good and not excessive. The last picture is the cocktail ordered at the bar (with resident singers). It is so delicious that I couldn't help but order it again when I went to the restaurant for hot pot the next day. It is definitely my favorite special drink I have ever had. There was a small mistake when checking out. The afternoon tea set was charged on the bill again, but it should have been included in the prepaid room fee. After being reminded, it was modified in time.
