Lijiang Qishangju Youth Hostel

Really family friendly hostel, looks more like a guesthouse than a hostel. I had a good time. If you're okay with smoking it's good but if you don't really like the smell you should try somewhere else.

I stayed for 3 nights and felt glad that I chose it instead of those in the old town. It's close to the market to restaurant, to the old town and taxi accessible. I didnt have to drag my heavy luggage along the old town's bumpy roads or climb the hill. They helped me arrange bargain for the electric bike to go around town and to the near by Ancient towns. The house in located behind aparment so it might be a bit difficult to find. Just pass the barrier and follow Amap direction and you'll find a small house wity Warmly Welcome sign. Good luck. Highly recommend to stay here.

Booked two nights and decided to extend for another night. Friendly and hospitable hosts, very yummy home cooked food that you can enjoy (for lunch and dinner for a reasonable fee). Really blessed to meet this group of friends during my stay at Lijiang, I highly recommend this place if you're looking to meet new friends!

I really enjoyed this homely stay. This is more of a guesthouse rather than a hostel but the family is so nice and welcoming. The rooms were cosy and clean and location was good too.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in China. The owners are super friendly and try to help you with everything. The facilities are great, as is the location. Recommended.
