Honestly not the best place to stay. Location is good and generally bed room is as usual as it is in another such hostels: clean and soft. BUT there is absolutely no hot water and any administration control. When I arrived a door was locked and no boss or staff were around. Another guests were ruling the hostel as I understand. They let me in and explained everything. And during two days of my staying no staff came. So sorry, beautiful but strange accommodation

Amazing view over Kunming. Toilet / shower is clean but small. The dorms are comfy, quiet and very clean. Great spot.

Facilities: I recommend installing a separate light for each bed; plugging in a night light prevents charging, which is a bit inconvenient.
Cleanliness: The bathroom and washroom are both on the first floor, and the water temperature and pressure are both good.
Environment: I'd appreciate a notice clearly stating the genders are in the rooms on the door. A guy came in and sat on my bed while I was sleeping, claiming it wasn't mixed living. Absolutely ridiculous!
Service: We'll contact you in advance to let you know your location and room number. We also recommend providing the main door code in the check-in reminder, as it's easy to get lost. 😂

The newly opened Xiaoyuan Youth Hostel is very clean in every aspect and self-service check-in is also very convenient! I came down from the mountain and rested for two days, basically just sleeping and basking in the sun, which was pretty good!

The room is very clean and tidy. The courtyard is also very clean. It's not noisy. I had a good sleep. The boss is very nice. Bathing and hygiene are very convenient.
