Relieved that we selected this inn that is close to main road which made commuting (didi or taxi) easy. Can’t imagine having to drag our luggages on the cobbled stone path in the old town. Inn was bright and felt home-coming. The room we stayed was one of the two largest in the inn – spacious! Just that toilet, bathroom and bath tub are semi-open hence 1, you need to be comfortable for room mates to hear your toilet businesses; 2, you have to bring all your clothes into the shower room ie only wet area and 3, not likely you get to use the bath tub unless you chase your room mates out of the room. Drinking water was unlimited, room was cleaned daily with change of fresh towels and toiletries, and reception was manned 24 hours. Breakfast was provided (if you booked with it) but you have to step out of the inn to a food outlet diagonally opposite the inn. The guys manning the inn were very helpful and offered to provide any advices or recommendations in person or over WeChat. Overall a pleasant experience, with the right vibe of staying in an old town in a quaint inn.

Location is probably the best if you want to stay at GuCheng as it is only 50 meter from the main road. The boss are extremely helpful in giving suggestions about travelling. The room and hotel setting is very authentic. The insulation is a problem for my family as it get very cold at night despite the heater is working hard.

Great little hotel with lots of beautiful charm, and the location can't be beat. The hotel picked us up from the hotel and helped carry our bags to our room. It's close to the main street while also being in the old city. The included breakfast is actually a credit at a restaurant across the street.

Location is good, just beside the main road so easier to wait for didi or taxi. There is a chagee within the vicinity of the hotel, a convenience store in front and right at the entrance to the ancient town! Room was spacious, there is a self service washer and front desk has a translator device so make life easier for foreign customers!

We love this hotel so much as the location is excellent just 1 minute walking distance from the main road. Room is clean, excellent facilities are provided , host really kind to share us the local foods tips which we tried are really nice. Hotel atmosphere are nice and highly recommended to everyone.

- Perfect hotel location whixh is only 20 sec walk from the entrance.
- There is the glocery store opposite the hotel.
- Staff is so nice and very helpful to help me areage the one day tour. They also allow me to check out late due to my flight will be departed on 17.30
- The room is so nice and big enough
- They can not speak english but they know very well on how to communicate to me with effective language translator machine.
