This location is great! I got advice from a friend to not stay in Lijiang old town, so I found this place that is very close to the entrance. The owner is friendly and let us choose a room on the second floor with a view. I really like the balcony where you can sit out and enjoy the fresh air.
Take note, it is on a hill so it’s an upward walk to get to. No breakfast. You need to go outside to find. Also, the bed is kind of hard so it wasn’t a very comfortable sleep. However, there is a Japanese toilet that was SO warm to use. That’s was nice.

The location of this hotel is great if you are someone who is traveling the city by foot. Overall the rooms are small but cozy, and they are clean. The rooms all have great heating and cooling services and the owners are very friendly as well. This was the first place we stayed when traveling Yunnan province and it was a great way to start our trip.
