Jingshan Yuanmeisu (Lijiang Ancient City Mufu Branch)

The reception staff seemed rather indifferent, but they answered all our questions and were helpful overall. They picked us up from the train station and helped carry our luggage from the old town on departure day, which was much appreciated. The hotel is located in the old town, but it’s about a 10-minute walk to the livelier part of the city. The room was quite dark, especially with the bad weather, but the beds were comfortable and the linens pleasant. Heating worked well. The bathroom was equipped, but we were disappointed to receive only disposable towels. After asking, we were given two small regular towels. There was also a bad smell coming from the drains. The dining room was uninviting, but we could use the washing and drying machine, and there was a beautiful, huge dog on the premises.

Located southwest of the Lijiang ancient town & 5min walk out to the main road for easy transportation to various attractions away from this Lijiang ancient town. Friendly host if you are able to conversate in mandarin. Some guest stayed here just to see this majestic pet. Rooms are clean.

The owner though abit quiet, was nice and friendly. He helped to pick us up from the main road and to bring our luggage to the hotel due to the stony and rocky roads. The room ambience and facilities were great. Water pressure was also good. The hotel room was spacious and had many outlets. They provided disposable towels which were replaced every day. Overall a nice and enjoyable stay!
