We were very happy to stay at Jiu’er Guesthouse. The place is new and clean, and the courtyard is surrounded by flowers and greenery. There’s also an adorable giant poodle call Boss (“老板”) who kept us company, which created the perfect vibe for a relaxing vacation.
The guesthouse is only a few minutes away from the Lijiang old town center and the north gate, yet it’s tucked away from the noise of the main street. Sally, who runs the place, has really provided an excellent service, she helped us with luggage transport and gave us lots of useful information.
We truly enjoyed our stay here. We’ll definitely come back when we visit Lijiang again!

The inn is located right in the center of Gucheng so sourcing for activities and food will not be difficult given the many varieties around. However the sound proofing of the rooms are a little poor and if you are situated on the room near the stairs at the 2nd floor, guests walking up the stairs can be easily heard. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and the hosts were very welcoming as well.

The hotel environment is really good, very beautiful, and there are many flowers in the softness to take pictures. The room we stayed in also has a small terrace. The weather is very suitable, and the boss is very enthusiastic. There is also a dog, which is very humane. 😭 It left a deep impression on me about Lijiang. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Lijiang
