I booked this hotel for my friend, and she told me the location is excellent. All the facilities are well-maintained, and she would definitely stay here again if she returns to Basel. Highly recommended!

Recently renovated hotel. The hall is beautiful.
Nice but spacious rooms.
Far from the center (you need a car to reach the center of Basel) and with paid parking (expensive)
The free one is 6-7 minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel is outside of Basel, in an industrial area and located in a shopping center. However, the hotel was fab and so was the breakfast buffet. They gave us free vouchers to use on the tram into the center of Basel where we had an excellent dinner, overlooking the river. Parking was 20 euros per day.

Nothing exceptional or outstanding, expensive for what it is. Just good enough for business trips. If you wish to add the swimming pool access it cost you an arm. If you add the breakfast to the rate, you expect exceptional breakfast but this is just normal buffet. So just do not expect anything more than a good business hotel with expensive fee, which brings it in average.

The room was clean and tidy but EVERY single bit of the stay apart from sleeping was horrendous!!!!!! Complete lack of service staff and service I should have ordered my drink a year ago to receive them in a timely manner. Not a cheap stay at all but $ for $ the worst money spent on a hotel . I would never return and I would advice anyone concerned to stay away.
