Seiler's Hotel is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. I would describe the breakfast as spartan but adequate for someone who doesn't like jam. Tea, orange juice, croissant, and one hard-boiled egg. If the hotel had offered a more appropriate selection of cornflakes or something similar, it would have been nicer. The beds are truly a disaster. The blankets are far too thick, and you sweat easily under them. Especially when the heating is turned up high and the room is 24-25°C. The only thing that helps is turning the heating down and opening the window right after the cleaning crew arrives. I consider the cleaning crew a positive. I think the women cleaned the rooms around 8 or 9 a.m. Not for late risers. Unfortunately, in other hotels, I've experienced rooms that at 3 or 4 p.m. the room still looked the same as when I left it that morning. I find the language to be the biggest obstacle for a non-Swiss person. The Wi-Fi is ok, but suffers from occasional dropouts.
