The hotel is centrally situated which is excellent for all the amenities, including restaurants which dominate the landscape: so there is much choice. The hotel was opened in 1947, so is very comfortably palatial, with its own seperate Cocktail Bar. I have to mention the very high level of housekeeping. The sheets were changed every day & the rooms, if a little tired, left spotless. The ladies themselves, lovely. The pool areas were fine, in low season &, yes, do take a towel. Reception couldn't provide us with change for gratuities, when asked for €5 notes, on three separate evenings, which was disappointing because we wished to tip the different restaurant staff! Finally, there restaurant, situated on the 4th Floor was well managed & served by Salvatore & his staff. The food was excellent & do go half board for a very varied & quality Italian dining culinary experience.

We spent a wonderful week at the Principe Palace. The hotel is so lovely. The public areas are spotlessly clean as are the rooms. The rooftop pool and bar area had great views of the resort. We visited Venice, Verona and Lake Garda during our stay and had plenty of time to relax on the beach where the hotel has it's own section with sun loungers and parasols. The food was superb. So much choice and all very well presented. The service is first class. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. And just a quick mention to Jet2 who arranged for us to remain in the hotel in our room with all food provided when our flight was rescheduled for the following day due to a strike at Venice airport. We loved every minute and want to thank everyone at the Principe for such a great holiday - we can't wait to visit again.

Great location. Loved the outside bar terrace: perfect for people watching with an aperol on an evening. Lovely pool area on the rooftop with a great bar (and great service) and the beach is only a few minutes walk through Manzini Square and has a designated area with parasols and loungers for the hotel. The public areas are great. Our rooms on floor 1 had a good sized balcony facing the square. The restaurant is amazing- food, and service is outstanding. Stayed half board. Table allocated for your stay and the welcome gift on the first night was a nice touch. Breakfast choices are amazing. Evening is even better. An outstanding buffet followed by seaters and main choices (selected from the menu the previous evening). Deserts, grit and cheeses ( plus a really nice selection of wines) round the meal off. Huge shout out to all staff - reception, housekeeping, snack bar, terrace bar but especially all staff in the restaurant. The restaurant runs silently and us one if the best hotel restaurants I’ve used in over 30 years. Big shout out to Domenico, Omar and April and the young ban on deserts (whose bane I didn’t get) . Your service, awareness and focus where brilliant. Your manager should be immensely proud to have you in the team. You where outstanding. We will definitely be back. Wish I’d found this hotel years ago!

This is an easy review to write. Stayed for 5 nights at the end of August. My wife and i had never visited Italy before. Hotel Principe Palace is an excellent hotel. The facilities are superb as is the food. The location is terrific and we would definitely recommend this fabulous hotel. Quite simply it's a gem. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Special mention must go to Giulia,Carlotta,Barbara and Dragan on reception. The restaurant staff are terrific and April,Domenico and Agon were ALWAYS friendly, polite and efficient. They looked after us every meal. All the staff are an utter delight. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the rooftop pool is amazing. As a resort Jesolo is excellent too and we borrowed the hotel's free bicycles to explore most days.

Been coming to this hotel for over 30 years and over this time have witnessed the many changes and renovations. I have stayed in the standard and suite rooms and found them highly decorated and spotless. On this visit I noted the bathroom had recently been refurbed to a high standard, the bed and bedding was comfy and clean. All new electric plugs making charging your phones and gadgets easy. I normally ask for a room to the front and although the square can get busy, the room is fairly quiet. Pool area is great with friendly attentive staff on hand. The restaurant itself has seen some changes in staff over the years but they are always very helpful and obliging, the food selection has always been great however it has perhaps been scaled back to avoid waste but always plenty to choose from. Reception staff and bar staff downstairs are top notch and to mention any one staff member in particular as being the best would be unfair to the rest, as they are all excellent. Hotel is excellently placed for getting to the beach or wandering about the town for shops and bars. Thank you to Venerino, Caroline and all the staff for an amazing stay and I'll be back next year 👍😎

Really liked everything about this hotel, and the staff in particular in the restaurant made it extra special. Thanks to Agon and April. Hotel is large enough to have all the facilities but still keep things feeling personal. On arrival we were allocated a table for breakfast and dinner which was ours for the week. The food was varied and exceptionally good quality, with plenty of buffet starter choices to keep the children happy before the a la carte first and second courses and a nice selection of deserts. Wine and drinks with meals and in the cafe overlooking the square were not overly expensive and the cafe was a great place to watch the world go by and the watch the musical events held on several nights in the square. Rooftop pool is lovely with just enough (high quality) loungers and a nice snack bar. There is a table tennis table and a nice "adults only" loungers section that was always empty. The beach is 5 minutes walk and is vast, but the hotel has an allocated section of sunbeds. The beach is fine sand, no rocks and stays shallow (less than one metre) for a long way out so is great for young kids and waboba / ball games. Beach always busy but never felt crowded. A wide range of shops on the doorstep, nice restaurants for lunch and several ice cream parlours. One point to note is that the hotel do not supply beach towels, so either take your own or choose from several shops 2 minutes from the hotel. The hotel also has pushbikes to borrow FOC and next door is a place to hire buggies, scooters etc. As mentioned in some reviews, the rooms that have not been renovated are starting to show their age. But they were small with comfy (firm) beds, good size bathrooms and decent shower. And kept super clean. Ours had a nice view over the front of the hotel. Overall we loved it, a bit different from traditional beach holiday due to the location, but the ability to leave the room on third floor, have a leisurely breakfast on the fourth floor and to be by the pool on 5th floor in minutes really takes some beating. Then spend some time on the beach in afternoon. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel and a wonderful place to have a family holiday. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the restaurant is superb - such a varied range and something for everyone. It’s also in a great location, very close to the beach but near to public transport if you want to get around. We were in St Mark’s Square in Venice in just over an hour by bus/ferry. Superb!

The staff were very helpful ,the room clean but very small ,less than 1m from bed to walls ,the balcony was a view of a wall or the back of a building so no time spent on there ,the food was ok and you could find something to eat but not great ,we expected lots of fresh fish (not sure any was fresh)the desserts were defrosted and not always fully so .All in all not the Italian experience we had hoped for.
