I was given a room with a view of the parking lot when everyone else in my group had an ocean view and small balcony. The people at the desk were very nice and allowed me to move my room. It’s an older hotel that could use some maintenance. The fence surrounding the property is rusted and access to the beach is difficult. The meals were delicious. What a surprise from a hotel restaurant.

What a wonderful friendly hotel. My husband and I were on a cruise when unfortunately he suffered a massive heart attack. We were taken off the ship in Taranto and he was taken to hospital. I was then alone in an unfamiliar city knowing nobody. The taxi driver that i was given by P&O recommended this hotel and i will be eternally grateful for this recommendation. The staff are absolutely fantastic and helped me so much through this difficult time...i will NEVER forget their kindness. Although i was alone until my husband was allowed out of hospital i was made to feel like i was part of the family. When my husband returned he was treated like a 'celebrity' and loved his stay despite the circumstances. No words can ever describe how wonderful this hotel and staff are and if we are ever back in this area it will be this hotel we go to. 10/1 0 for service, staff, cleanliness, ambience, food. They say in life you meet people that you will never forget due to their kindness and the staff at this hotel certainly will be with me forever. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Nice hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, small fridge with bottles water, TV. Hot shower, nice soft white towels. A/C does not work well. We slept with balcony door open all night for cool air and to listen to the surf. Elevators. Good breakfast. Low ramp to bring suitcases in and out of hotel. Hotel is on a beach. Has a large swimming pool.

We chose Ara solis because it gave us the guarantee of being on the sea and so it is. 10 minutes from the center of Taranto, the hotel has a large swimming pool that overlooks the sea. From the pool patio there is a gate which leads directly to the free beach, but it doesn't matter that it is not equipped, because you can use the hotel's tents and deck chairs in complete comfort. The sandy beach is long and slopes very slowly, suitable for children. The water is very clean, we found starfish on the beach and octopuses in the sea. We only slept and had breakfast, but we found a clean hotel with friendly staff. Given the proximity to the port, you can see the cranes on one side, but honestly, you just need to turn around on the other side and your gaze is lost as far as the coasts of Basilicata.

We stopped for work in this hotel, beautiful structure and all very kind. Unfortunately, the dinner was a disaster with regard to the quality of the dishes !! Completely tasteless and poorly made dishes. to finish ... the bill 90 euros !! for 2 first courses two appetizers and two desserts .... certainly the price has been inflated by a bottle of low quality but high priced wine ..... Tip Ask for the wine list with the relative price to avoid surprises. ....

Hotel grande stile 90. Tappa fissa quando ripasso da queste parti in quanto molto comodo essendo a pochi minuti dal centro ed avendo tanti parcheggi gratuiti disponibili. Pro Camere ampie e pulite Contro Colazione e un po' retrò Ma sicuramente buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Mooie ligging en goed hotel. Enigzins achterstallig onderhoud, ruime kamers met zeezicht, perfect parkeren, mooi terras met zwembad, restaurant beperkte kaart, personeel erg vriendelijk, jammer dat de minibar niet koelde. 3 nachten verbleven en in de directe omgeving nada te beleven en voor restaurants met de auto.
