Das Hotel Forellenhof Rössle ist ein Familienbetrieb mit eigener Forellenzucht. Entsprechend ist dies auch das Highlight der Speisekarte. Allerdings werden die meisten Fischgerichte mit der lokalen Spezialität Creme Kartoffeln angeboten. Ich habe das vorher noch nicht gekannt. Sind eine Art klein geschnittene Pellkartoffeln mit einer großen Menge Sahne. Für mich einfach viel zu mächtig und ausserdem auch recht wenig gewürzt.
Unser Zimmer war recht dunkel und im Bad gab es ausser einem gläsernen Bord unter dem Spiegel, keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es war eine Bedewanne vorhanden, mit einer Handbrause. Insgesamt erschien mir die gesamte Hoteleinrichtung doch ziemlich aus der Zeit gefallen und längst nicht mehr so, wie ich es von einem vernünftigen 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte.

This property is adorable and very clean. The only reasons I rated it lower is because there was no air conditioning. The room was bery stuffy. When we opened the window, there was traffic down the road all night, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. Additionally, they had all kinds of littlsle products in the room with price tags. It was a put-off and made me feel like I was staying in a shop looking to make as much money as possible instead of being welcomed in the hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location and the conditions of our accommodations. Though we were in a separate building the room was close in proximity and comfortables.

Perfect weekend getaway hotel
We loved this hotel. The views were amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We had a wonderful stay.

This hotel is beautiful and romantic. Very quiet and calm. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Castle Lichtenstein. We were able to ride the bus from Reutlingen.
