Parking is very limited, especially since a coach parked directly in front of the hotel instead of driving into the bus parking bay. So there was no parking space available in the hotel car park.
The bathroom was still covered in hair from previous guests, the beds were not made despite requests. Sheets were not straightened, pillows not fluffed, duvets simply laid over the entire bed, unloving and somehow a shame. The service is getting worse every year.

Bardzo ładny hotel aczkolwiek dużym minusem był brak działającego gniazdka w łazience, brak wymiany ręczników oraz brak kontroli ilości środków czystości w trakcie pobytu. Na minus również brak basenu a wstęp do czegokolwiek w strefie Welness jest dodatkowo płatny. Śniadania bardzo dobre, ale podczas naszego pobytu w weekend szwedzki stół taki sam zarówno w sobotę i niedzielę.

Good accommodation in the downtown area of Liberec. Room was clean, silent and generally ok. A bit warm I must admit but opening the window you can get some fresh air. Breakfast is ok although not that many fruits. The square nearby is also nice

The hotel is in tghe historic building. Location is perfect in the quiet area, vbery close to the city center. Very nice beer pub close to the hotel. Free parking with the plenty of space. Rooms very comfortable, service is perfect, breakfast with a wide choice of meals.

I visited this hotel three times in the year 2023 and always felt like a queen. Starting with welcoming, very friendly, polite and helpful reception staff, through the clean and comfortable room to the rich breakfast everything was perfect. I always tend to try different hotels when coming repeatedly to the same place but after a first stay in Zlaty Lev Liberec became an exception and I always book this hotel and will keep on doing it.

Lovely pictures, trampled red carpets and crystal chandeliers are really not making 4* hotel. Average 2-3* hotel with old furniture. Stuff doesnt give a damn about you. According to bookings there should be pool and sauna - to be honest I dont know. I felt like Im bothering receptionist so I didnt go again to reception to check. At check in she didnt mention that option, in room I didnt find any info neither. There are parking places in from of the hotel (11€/night). Breakfast was again average for 3*, not good coffee.

The hotel need to make 100% sure that their guest do understand what most foreigners don't know: blue-marked parkings are for residents only - you can't pay them! There are signs but in Czech only - hotel receptionist with limited english was missunderstood (not far away parking is chargeable 8-18h). City itself seems to rub fingers about the foreigners who all have to pay fines.... We parked there for ca. 15mins for checkin and room visit - when I returned to car to remove it the police have been visiting: parking clamp installed and removal only for 1000 CZK cash (no other currency or creditcard, receipt handwritten like 1995) We could cancel our stay at hotel as I was so pissed that I didn't wanted to spend any money in a city which welcomes me like that. Our room was classic style, high ceilings, Jugend flair - however offiicial rates are too high (Spa access extra)
