Sea Island Hotel

It's really bad, hard to review. There were disposable face towels, but the disposable toothbrushes looked like they were from a guesthouse in the last century. I don't know if the shower gel and shampoo were from the bottom of a closet or if the owner brought them back from a trip. The room was damp, the TV was unwatchable, and there were flies. I reported this to the owner, who said it was just like that. I turned around and saw a fly swatter hanging behind the door, hahaha. The owner said: The check-out time provided by the platform is for reference only.

Before I went, I read a lot of reviews on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) saying not to stay in Liandao, which made me quite nervous. Here's my experience: 1. Parking was on a one-way road around the mountain, making it a bit unsafe. I was constantly worried about falling rocks or scratching my car. It wasn't very convenient to get my belongings. 2. The building where my room was located was quite old, so it seemed like it was a mixed bag, not a whole hotel. The furnishings in the room were about the standard of a fishing village or a typical city hotel in the $100 range. 3. The front desk lady was very friendly and the bedding was changed promptly. The bedding was also quite clean. 4. There's a large terrace outside the hallway, facing Dashawan, with a beautiful view. The best part was watching the sunrise from the room in the morning. That made the price worth it. You can watch the video I shared. This was the only pleasant surprise and special feature. 5. Regarding dining, there are many barbecues downstairs, but we were worried about missing out, so we went back to the city for dinner. There's a shop downstairs, which also serves breakfast, but I'm not sure about the price or quality. 6. Regarding sightseeing, you need to pay a fee for things like Dashawan. The nearby beach is connected to Dashawan, and the cliffs prevent you from descending. Walk north along the mountain road around the entrance for about 10 minutes, past many restaurants, and you'll find a wild beach where you can watch the sunset and catch crabs. Regarding the scenic area, Dashawan is said to be a 10-minute walk away. We had children and a tent, so we were too full to walk. We strongly recommend checking in the day before. You can drive into the scenic area before 8:00 AM (the gates are raised for entry and exit at night, but only for exit during the day). You can also drive to Yangwotou and the surrounding scenery. Parking is convenient near the Dashawan entrance. You can leave immediately after your visit, without having to wait in line for the shuttle bus.
