Bipenggou Shanguo Homestay

Conveniently located just off National Highway G248, with ample parking. Our room overlooked the river, and while the sound of the water was quite noticeable, once the windows were closed, it was virtually silent. The soundproofing is excellent; even my noise-sensitive family found it completely acceptable and had a peaceful night's sleep. The family room also features a spacious living room, and next to it is a billiard room with direct access to a small rooftop terrace on the third floor. While the guesthouse only offered hot pot, my family was craving stir-fries. The owner kindly recommended a Sichuan restaurant just a 3-minute drive away, which turned out to be much more affordable than the Chuanyuxiang restaurant at the intersection. The courtyard also has several slow-charging EV chargers, which is a great convenience for electric vehicle owners.

Traveling alone, I hope to have the best experience in accommodation. Shanguo has received high praise from previous guests, focusing on the comfort of staying. After comparing several hotels, the only thing that bothered me about Shanguo was that it was not next to the Bipenggou Visitor Center, and it took 10 minutes to drive there. Because it was the off-season, there were plenty of parking spaces at the Visitor Center, and there was no need to rush to go up the mountain, so I booked Shanguo. It turned out that this choice was very wise: 1. The Bipenggou Visitor Center has been renovated, and many new parking spaces have been built. It is estimated that there is no need to worry too much about parking even in the peak season. Moreover, the road from Shanguo to the scenic area is so beautiful. I came to Bipenggou a few years ago, and now it has changed dramatically. I didn't take photos of this section of the road, so I replaced it with photos of a section of the road that extended from this section. The scenery is the same, and the most beautiful path. It's also good not to stay at the entrance of the scenic area, without the noise and bustle at the entrance of the scenic area. From Shanguo to the scenic area, the whole way is also a scenery. 2. The boss and waitress of Shanguo are very enthusiastic and kind, making people feel the warmth of home, which is really the warmth of home. Because I was traveling alone, the dinner in the store was too much for me to eat, so the boss asked me to eat with them directly, just like my own family. 3. The room is spacious and bright, the decoration is modern and warm, the bedding is neat and comfortable, the bed board has enough support but the bed is soft and comfortable; the bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas, very clean, and the hot water is fast and sufficient. 4. The overall facilities of Shanguo are relatively complete. In addition to the guest rooms, there are also conference rooms, chess and card rooms, billiard rooms and children's playrooms. There is also a shared kitchen that can accommodate two families to cook at the same time. It is a small but complete and beautiful homestay. 5. There is a clear stream in front of Shanguo, and behind it is a farmer's orchard, a quiet and beautiful village. A very satisfying trip.

June 17-18, 2025 (not hot summer) 10/10 This hotel is very good. I booked a suite on Trip.com for less than 1,500 with breakfast for 2 people and got extra coins. It took less than 5 seconds to confirm the booking. The atmosphere in the room is very good. It caters to Thais. There is a bidet in the bathroom. It is very clean. There is an elevator. There is air conditioning. There is heat on the floor... There is the sound of running water... The mountain view 🥰 is very cool. ♥️ On the day of entering Bipenggou, the hotel staff called a car for 20 yuan per person. You can also leave your luggage.
