The rooms were clean. Balconies were small but nice. Breakfast was delicious! Hot tub was nice , not super hot. Sauna was great. Staff were lovely. We departed very early prior to breakfast service. The staff were very accommodating and provided us when lots of take away items.

Splendid hotel, wooden room with mountain style, welcoming, clean and quiet. We had a very good lunch at the restaurant. Very varied breakfast with sweet and savory products. Different types of milk. We also enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the mountains. Very kind staff.

The welcome was friendly, but we were surprised to have to pay 10.- per person to have a bathrobe. The jacuzzi looks nice, but we weren't able to use it, having been stormed by a very festive group. The room is very much in the chalet theme, nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is, despite its appearance, dated and the cleanliness left something to be desired with a broken toilet seat, dirt on the floor and hair in the shower. The breakfast is varied and with very good products.

Le Grand Chalet was a wonderful surprise for our first visit to Leysin. We expected a traditional hotel with Swiss efficiency and comfort. We found the hotel more like a Chez Nous in Leysin, informal, efficient, beautifully decorated and delicious from breakfast to dinner. Between two outings in Leysin, we warmed up by the fire in the living room. Everything about this hotel made us feel relaxed and aware of being somewhere special. The staff is open and competent, while deploying a good dose of Swiss efficiency, but always with a friendly touch. We left knowing we would return and bring friends and family with us to share this wonderful Chez Nous in the Leysin Mountains. Le Grand Chalet was a wonderful surprise for our first visit to Leysin. We spent one night there as a couple. The hotel is nice, we eat very well in the restaurant located below, there is a magnificent view of the mountains. The receptionists are really very nice. There is just one small downside. There is only a bottle of water in the room, but no mini fridge, so lukewarm water. The room is pretty but with a few decorative accessories, like a bedside rug, even a few dried flowers, it would make the room even more cozy. The beds are really good quality with an excellent mattress. Be careful, there is a Nespresso coffee machine at the entrance but you need change, to be prepared because we have less cash on hand today.

Really good hotel and super nice staff. We were very well received, the hotel is close to the ski slopes, the lounge area for having an aperitif or relaxing is really great. The staff is very nice and very helpful. The hotel benefits from a magnificent view and an east-facing terrace, therefore with good sunshine all day long.

Super nice hotel in which we spent 4 days. The staff are really very kind and smiling and we were very well received. The hotel is very well located, the breakfast very generous and varied. The hotel has a magnificent view and the restaurant is good. We had a superb stay.

I can only recommend it. Very nice contact who spoke French, English and German. The whole hotel seemed warm and inviting because of all the woodwork. Dinner was very cozy and 5 stars, staff friendly. The beds were very comfortable and we all 2 adults and 2 children slept well. The hotel is at the end of the town, all uphill, so it is very quiet. We particularly liked the breakfast, it was great. Thanks to everyone at the hotel, I will definitely recommend it and come back.
