We rented an apartment through this hotel in Chamousaire, the minute we arrived the apartment smelled bad! the kitchen was poorly equipped, the boiler was rusted, toaster was burnt, there was no cutting board, no frying pan, no cutting knives, no kitchen towels, no tissue paper. The bedsheet had a 5cm hole, both shutters in the bedroom & living room & the balcony shade were all broken… AND when we complained asking for the missing items & for the fixing of the broken shutters & shade they accused us of being DEMANDING!!And at some point the hallway was cramped with shoes & stuff from the neighboring apartment!!

Location of the hotel & view from the room balcony was nice. Quality of the room & services were not upto the mark. I would like to suggest availability of atleast an electric kettle & tea/coffee packets in the room. They must atleast change the towels everyday.

Pros: The staff were wonderful. The views from the 6th floor were spectacular. The room was basic and clean. The spa area was lovely, particularly the outdoor pool and new sauna. The hotel has lots of character. Breakfast was OK and included, bacon sausage and eggs. The bus stop is right outside. Cons: 5 minute walk to ski lift - 10-15 minute walk back due to it being up hill and in ski boots - there was an hourly free ski bus. The evening meal was awful - ridiculously limited choice and poor quality. The rooms were dated and tired. Tips: Don't take the dinner included option Pool opens 8:30am - 9pm Pool gets busy after 5pm No children allowed in outside pool Breakfast 7am-10am Dinner 6pm-9pm Robes are CHF5O deposit each

This hotel is very famous in Leysin, but completely overrated. We had a voucher for a package, which we could finally not use. Do not purchase any price attractive on line vouchers for this hotel you're going to loose you money- This is SCAM ! Rooms are by the way dated and lower average, food can be good one day and terrible the next one. Breakfast is quite a joke, not even croissants or some descent scrambe eggs are available ! Pool and Spa are generally Ok, just overcrowded at certain hours of the day. So overall, I can only tell my deepest disappointment with this place

01/06/24----07/06/24. I of a coach party of 28.. The hotel is in a beautiful location but the only access road is challenging. I had a lovely double room on the 7th floor which was cleaned regularly. The staff were pleasant and helpful but obviously not enough staff in the restaurant. Despite having a set time and designated tables for our meals it was sheer chaos. It was buffet style meals but when food ran out it was not replenished. There could be up to 3 coaches at any one time which made mealtimes a free for all. Not a pleasant experience at all. We had a, busy itinerary so I cannot comment on the leisure facilities. I could not recommend this hotel because of the failings of the restaurant.

This is a great place to stay with family in Leysin. You can walk to the town, the gondola and restaurants. The chalet room
Is very convenient, good looking, comfortable beds and bedding. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are wonderful. Dining room area is great, very Swiss looking with good breakfast and dinner buffet. A lot of healthy options and variety for adults and kids. We will definetely be back.

The hotel was much better than I imagined. A great stay for Christmas. A very comfortable stay, reception very helpful. My e.u 2 point plug didn't fit as swiss is 3 point plug and Reception lent me their convertor plug the whole duration.. i took the half board option as we went for skiing and travelling and would sometimes be out in the day. The breakfast was plentiful. A range of continental and bacon and eggs. Various options for evening meal. Good location, with great views and a short 10 minute walk to the slopes, however there is a free bus to go up and down to Leysin village . A 10 minute walk to the train station in the opposite direction. We tried the toboggan park whilst there too. I travelled as a single female with 2 children and my stay couldn't of been more welcoming and at ease.
