Probably the best BnB we have stayed at to be honest! Location in general was great but once there the views were even more stunning. The decor was different and varied which was a nice change with some great unique pictures/ornaments throughout. Our host was amazing and very helpful throughout. If we are up this way again we would be sure to stay again. 5*

My wife and myself had a wonderful stay at Stowe House. Our host, Sarah was lovely and very welcoming. The house is tastefully decorated, cosy and our bedroom with its en-suite bathroom to the highest standard - a great shower. Breakfast - I couldn't resist the full English, was made from locally sourced ingredients and was unsurprisingly first class - possibly the best I have ever had. When next in the Yorkshire Dales we will be booking there again. Ian & Alex Quayle

We stayed on a Saturday evening, in the room with the turret roof you can see from the front elevation. The views were stunning from the double ended steel rolltop bath in the bay. The house has been stylishly reimagined with the owners distinctive eye for design on full display, creating an atmospheric, comfortable and interesting guest house in a superb location within beautiful grounds and a stunning outlook. The breakfast choice was generous and it was delicious. The walking opportunities in this area are spectacular and dinner 2mins walk up the road at the Falls Hotel was also exceptional. In terms of overall value, we got that feeling you have when you've spent money wisely. The owners were very friendly and informative without being intrusive. We rarely go back to the same place twice but this is one of those rare places.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Stayed to explore the incredible local area and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Sarah was the ultimate host offering advice on where to eat and visit along with mixing us up cocktails to die for. Phil made sure we had a hearty breakfast in the morning to send us on our way. The room was immaculate and styled beautifully. The views were breathtaking. Access to the library and living room meant we spent nearly as much time here as out wandering the dales

We have stayed at Stow House lots of times and will continue to do so. It’s a real gem in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Everything is first class: the house itself is beautifully furnished with some quirky stuff but it all works so well. The bedrooms are big and airy and warm. Breakfast is fantastic. The smoked salmon is exceptional. And the host , Sarah, moles a mean cocktail. And she is so helpful. We are going back later in the year.

Such a lovely stay at Stow House. The location is perfect for some nice walks and cosy pubs. Stow House itself is brilliant. Lovely lounges to sit in in and can highly recommended the cocktails. The breakfast the following morning was delicious. Sarah was such a friendly host. We will definitely be returning.

Stow House was a fabulous place to stay in the Yorkshire Dales - location & scenery was fantastic. Sarah & Phil were wonderful hosts & the accommodation very comfortable, a beautiful property. Home cooked breakfasts & the bar were fabulous & recommendations and dinner & taxi bookings were great. We would definitely visit again!

Stayed in late autumn and it really is as good as the other reviews suggest - beautiful, peaceful and quirky (and not in an annoying way - a difficult balance to get right). Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and individual, and the common areas convey the owners humour and style. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our second stay at Stow House, we were excited to return as our first stay had been wonderful, our second stay did not disappoint. At Stow House Sarah and Phil offer a very warm welcome to the beautiful house. We stayed in a different room this time (Like Wow Man) and it was absolutely gorgeous with a most spectacular view! The Bathroom, was huge and the central bath was needed after a cold and windy walk at Aysgarth Falls, There are even beautiful scented candles to light in the bathroom for a truly relaxing experience
