The Sunday roast was absolutely amazing and so fresh, meat just melted in your mouth. I wish I lived nearer. Service and hotel was super . I would be happy with that on Christmas Day . Cooked all fresh and very tasty. Very friendly and good range of drinks.

Great place to stay for exploring my the Yorkshire Dales national park. The pub had a good selection of locally brewed beer. The rooms upstairs were very clean and well furnished for overnight stays. The location was great as a midway point for exploring the national park, it’s also very close to trails of the Aysgarth Falls, a substantial attraction inside the national park

Went for the weekend and stayed in Church View cottage which is perfect for self catering stay. Alex and Lee really looked after us especially when we had to stay another night due to the weather. Can't thank them enough. Sunday Lunch and breakfasts were perfect. Accomodation is like home from home and is really well equipped. Bathroom is brand new.

What a fabulous stay at this wonderful hotel. Brilliant location with gorgeous views. Absolutely spotless clean,cosy and warm.A big shout out to Jake,Lee and team who couldn't do enough for us, with a great sense of humour and smiles all round. We will be back!

Stayed here for our first ever Christmas getaway and they ensured it was perfect from start to finish. From the huge afternoon tea on arrival, beautifully spacious room with comfortable bed and attention to detail at every turn. We felt truly spoilt from the minute we walked through the door. The little touches - the hamper to cover any potential shortages on Christmas Day, the four course Christmas lunch that turned into six courses; each one more delicious than the last (compliments to the chefs’ 5 star food that deserves a Michelin star) and ever attentative staff. Every meal was delicious! Add the wonderful surroundings that the hotel is based in making it a great base to explore from on foot or by car and you have the perfect mix. Nicely sized so it always felt intimate too. Thank you Steve and your brilliant team, you really made our stay special.

We have just enjoyed the 3 night Christmas package in a junior suite room. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was also well appointed, quiet and had lovely views onto the hills opposite. All our meals were very good with a varied choice. Steve the Manager, and all his team worked very hard to ensure we had a wonderful festive stay. We can happily recommend the hotel and we look forward to future visits.

Great hotel. Lovely junior suite. Great breakfast. Looked after by Lee who was very chatty and helpful and carried our bags up 2 flights of stairs for us. Would stay again. Beautiful views. Cosy & warm. Stylish rooms. Lovely decorations for Christmas
