The Calvert Hotel

This was a nice, clean facility but it was overpriced for what it was. With it being a historic building, the rooms were on the smaller side and the length of time you had got water was dependent on who all was showering at the same time. It also had steps at the entrance and stairs down to the breakfast area, so it wasn’t as convenient for elderly guests.

Great historic hotel in a quaint town in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I enjoyed our stay more than we expected.

The place is a nicely refurbished old hotel. They provide a decent breakfast. The dowside is that it has no ADA accessibility and you have to haul your luggage up the stairs and breakfast is served in the basement.

This is a lovely, historic property on a quiet street. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Because it is an old building, there are no elevators, so be prepared to carry your bags up and down stairs.

Delicious breakfast- best motel breakfast I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, our second morning, there was no hot water—no showers ☹️.

I stay at this hotel every year. The rooms are always very clean. This is wonderful boutique hotel. Guests can expect nice clean beds, standard coffee maker and TV, beautifully tiled bathrooms, very clean lobby, ice cream for purchase at the desk, and mostly quiet halls. This building is old so the walls are thin. My only complaint is that when the facility is full, the hot water does not regenerate quickly. I’ve had a few cold showers here. However, this is the only place I would recommend in lewistown.

Lovely aesthetics @ this Hotel - however set up of TV and lighting in the room was confusing and ineffective. I also had a family of 4 or 5 people (sounded like at least 10 people) on the floor above me - and the noise of that many people was disturbing!!!

Interesting old building, an easy walk to town. Check in was easy, professional, and the guy offered to help carry luggage one flight up the stairs ( no elevator ). So far, so good. Mid afternoon, and the TV from downstairs was loud. Came back at 9pm, and the TV in the next door room was deafening. Asked front desk if they could ask them to turn it down. They asked and the response was “ I don’t think it’s too loud, so no” . Someone who has no concept of communal living and respect obviously. Myya at the front desk was really good. Even though the hotel was full, there was a suite which was just finished being refurbished which she moved us into. Excellent customer service. Was woken up at 2am by the guy beneath us, snoring….😩. Evidently, the walls, and ceilings are paper thin, so sleeping well, undisturbed, is a pretty poor gamble.. A shame…
