The Inn was just what I needed. I was there for one night on a work-related trip. I was attending an event at Bates College. The location was great. When I arrived I was given coupons for lunch and breakfast. I was unable to use them both but appreciated the generosity. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. I slept well thanks to the comfy blankets and pillows. Thank you!

Nice place, stayed there passing through to Acadia National Park. Quick response from host with late check in questions and clear instructions on everything. There were also some nice shops nearby and went to a good Farmers Market on Sunday.

We were coming to Maine to help a family member living in the Lewiston area with some home projects. Instead of staying at a chain hotel we chose to stay at this lovely inn. We were met by the innkeeper who made us feel immediately welcome. The room overlooked the courtyard, had room darkening shades and comfy bed linens. We slept well. Lots of nice touches with books on local history, a game room, and snacks! We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a conference at Bates College, about 25 minutes walking away. Billie was very kind and thoughtful as a host: there were snacks and drinks available for free to guests. My room was extremely clean and the whole house is cute; the vibe is bed and breakfast (they don't provide breakfast though).

We made a last-minute trip to pick up a new puppy from a breeder and lucked into finding this wonderful spot. It was lovely, clean, and very convenient, and the owner was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend it to others traveling to the area.

Fabulous stay. I stayed in Gleason Suite, and the room was nice and cozy. The house was really quiet too. The bathroom is rather modernized, with a big bathtub and wash basin. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I would definitely come back someday!

We stayed here a few weeks ago and so enjoyed our stay that we are heading back in May. The Inn in is nicely decorated, very clean, centrally located, and the manager Billi is full of insights into things to see and do in Lewiston. Coupons toward breakfast at two nearby places meant we got to explore two excellent food options we might have missed. Lewiston is not the tidiest looking small city, but among the history museum and river walk across the Androscoggin, Bates College, Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, DaVinci's and Baxter Brewing restaurants, the up-and-coming Somali shops and restaurants (some of which we missed because of Ramadan), and the dumb luck of making it to the weekly French-language conversation group at the Franco Center, our two-night stay was one of our best off-the-beaten-path adventures ever!

Was looking for a place to stay in Lewiston Maine. Did not want a chain hotel then stumbled onto the Inn at the Agora while surfing the web. I called and booked ahead after browsing their site and viewing the rooms. When I arrived, I was utterly delighted by the Inn. It was a historic building and had “ Old World Charm “ with modern amenities. The high tech touch screen locks made me feel very safe as a traveler alone . My room had high ceilings and oversized windows as well as quaint furnishings and was squeaky clean. There was a kitchen stocked with goodies and drinks for the guests to use as they desired. There was free parking also which was a plus. Needless to say , I would stay there again and would recommend it to those who are looking for a cozy stay in a comfortable place where you can dress casually, take a minute to pet the Inns pet pooch and grab a snack from the kitchen and retire to a very secure and comfy room . Not to mention the Inn keeper was a delight , giving a little history about the Inn itself and JFK Park across the way. Thanks to the Inn for a lovely but all too short stay.

Bright, modern pretty room. Comfortable bed and bedding. There’s a hospitality area with snacks and beverages available 24 hours/day, which is a big plus for us early risers. Congenial staff, good parking, all in a spectacular old building. Convenient to New England School of Metalworking.
