When we got to the hotel it was warm and inviting, walking into the lobby and seeing the fireplace and the deco definitely didn’t feel like you were checking into a hotel.
When we got to our room, and unpacked, we noticed our fridge wasn’t getting cold, so we gave it awhile after we added our cold stuff, and it still wasn’t properly cooling, so we let the staff know, and they offered to switch us rooms since maintenance wouldn’t be there till the following day, we chose to wait since we didn’t have anything in there that would spoil. Next day, maintenance came and switched out our fridge. On to the not so good stuff…beds were hard, kinda felt like you were sleeping on a rock, not that I have ever slept on one, but I would imagine it would feel like the beds. Our bathroom was sub par, the front of our toilet had brown splatters on it, the toilet tank lid didn’t cover all of the tank, like it needed to be moved over, but that didn’t solve it, there was hair, like you would look on the ground and see hair…uck! A good mopping/wipe down would have solved that problem, bathroom walls were dirty, they had yellow stains…eww! It also took forever to get hot water, but when it came, it was hot!
Hotel breakfast was great! The hotel staff were very friendly, and helpful, even joked with our kids!
