great hotel very close to all the attractions the room was a good size excellent bathroom with large walk-in shower the breakfast was ample and very filling plenty to set you up for the day the hotel was in a very quiet location and has a very large garden it would have been nice to have table service when the bar opens but alas it was just so nice to sit in the peace and profit from the sunshine the actual bar is in the old part of the hotel and was very cosy with a small courtyard to have drinks the staff were friendly hotel was very clean and i highly recommend

Our hotel is therefore easily accessible by car. The beautiful historic city center of Leuven is just 8 km away. All 48 rooms are non smoking and fully equipped with air conditioning and multimedia TV.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel last night, 3 June 2022. The staff were very friendly and obliging. There was ample free parking. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and large, plenty of space within the rooms, everything well thought out. The bathroom had a lovely large walk in shower. Although we stayed room only, there was an adjoining Starbucks, Burger King and a café to purchase breakfast. I shall certainly stop there again, well recommended.

Beautiful facility, fresh air, great service.
We went to the hotel to celebrate the new year. We knew that the hotel was great. But we didn't know how friendly staff would be and how amazing the facility is. There wasn't many people around so there was no stress of the virus. And we could concentrate on having a good time. Highly recommend.

Spent just one night here and wish it was more. This is a beautiful hotel housed in an old mansion-type building in a rural area of Aarschot. It was a little difficult to find due to the narrow lanes and fields, but if you follow a SatNav you won't go wrong. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly, took our cases to our rooms, explained the layout of the hotel and even said he'd booked a place for dinner for us given the late hour. Dinner was good, although the menu was limited, they went out of their way to cook a special dish for us and the food was stunning. After dinner we relaxed in the hotel bar and chatted with other guests and it made for a really nice atmosphere. My room was massive, with a really comfortable bed. My only issue, albeit a slight one, there was no door to the shower/wash basin, which is surrounded by mirrors and in line with the bed. This means when you sleep you are looking at a reflection of yourself all night (some people might enjoy it, I didn't). Overall though, this warm, pleasant family-run hotel is a gem. I would stay again no question.

This was the second time this year that we have decided to stay at the Sheraton Airport prior to our return trip home. While the hotel is overpriced it is so convenient for departure and it eliminates the anxiety regarding taxi or transit strikes (something that seems to be a cultural event). The hotel offers great service; friendly and efficient check in and checkout, good response to requests (extra towels), etc. While it seems to be appearing “a little tired” (light bulbs flickering, some new paint required) I have found it to be clean, comfortable and has the hottest water I have experienced anywhere in the world. Gullivers restaurant has adequate service and food although the wait time for meals in the evening can be a test of patience. Breakfast is much quicker and if you wish the breakfast buffet, it is complete and well presented. The coffee we had there both times was the best we have had anywhere during our past month in Belgium! Regarding the waiters in the evening (January 2nd) I must say the women staff and one man (I believe his name was Driss) were the ones doing the work. They constantly circulated the areas and responded to guest requests and needs, the other men just took up space. I had to mention this because it was just so obvious.

We stayed with 20 family members in this hotel. All are welcomed by the guest. We enjoyed both the finely decorated rooms and the apartments. All comforts are present. The hotel offers a plus point for the room breakfast with a friendly guest. The Gusto brewery is also a recommendation. At the reception you can even tap free water and can also have sweets available free of charge. The hotel is a recommender and we're coming back.

Extremely compact room but beds were OK. Very nice walk in shower. Buffet breakfast was vey good, available from 6am. Tea and coffee was available in restaurant from 4:30a am. Entrance to car park was poorly lit making coach parking very difficult.

Outstanding
Agree with previous reviews on the challenging (steep and narrow) climb up to the room. But if you are looking for a unique experience, quiet room (even though floors crack as we walk), feel like you are part of history with modern comforts (wifi, box tv with lots of channels, shower, toilet, fridge - all in one room by the way), this is the place. Very attentive and charming host serving breakfast and genuinely interested in who we are. The area around is perfect - walking distance to town and KU Leuven Campus Arenberg.

GGuest UserDe kamers zijn netjes maar piepklein. Voor die prijs verwacht je iets meer ruimte. Wij zaten er op frisse en regenachtige dagen maar ik vraag me af wat een broeikast het er moet zijn op echt warme dagen. Een raam open zetten is geen optie want ongeacht welk uur van de nacht, altijd is er lawaai op straat. Het ontbijt is karig. Daar wordt duidelijk op beknibbeld. Nog nooit zo een slecht roerei geëten. Smaakt naar niets.....wellicht van eierpoeder gefabriceerd. Broodjes kwamen niet van de bakker maar vanuit de diepvries opgewarmd in de oven. Maar één soort koffiekoeken die wellicht al diverse malen werden opgewarmd. Weinig keuze in broodbeleg...hesp, salami en kaas. Dat was het. Te zurig smakende koffie. Kortom, een ontbijt te schraal voor de 185 euro die je betaalt voor een overnachtig. Dan zwijg ik nog over de ongezellige ontbijtruimte waar totaal geen moeite is gedaan om die wat warmer aan te kleden. De betrokkenheid van het personeel is zeer matig. Weinig gemotiveerd. Eén klein voorbeeld (of beter twee), op het moment dat de ontbijtzaal volloopt gaat de ”ontbijtzaalverantwoordelijke” doodgemoedereerd samen met de receptionist een sigaretje roken op straat, de gasten aan hun lot overlatend. Bij het afrekenen bij vertrek zit de receptionist languit met zijn voeten op tafel achter de balie, ijverig tokkelend op zijn smartphone. Wij waren eerder al in een hotel van de Lodge-groep ( 'Herenmolens in Aarschot) en daar werden we met dezelfde desinteresse van het personeel geconfronteerd. Eén goede raad : zoek je een hotel in Leuven in deze prijsklasse, ga dan naar het Begijnhofhotel waar men weet wat klantvriendelijkheid is. En mijd hotels van de Lodge-groep.

Very Good
I spent 4 nights at the Lodge Heverlee and never wanted to leave. Everything about the Hotel is beautiful, as well as the surroundings. Waking up to seeing the Arenberg Castle on the other side of the road was just wow! And the room was too perfect for words. Great breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, clean and comfortable. There is a bus stop 10 steps away from the front door. I was alone, on a business trip, but would gladly go back as a couple. 3*** is not nearly enough for this place! I would choose this Hotel over and over again!

GGuest UserZeer vuil bij aankomst (foyer en openbaar toilet) Kamer was bij aankomst zeer warm en er bevonden zich nog restanten van teennagels onder het nachtkastje. Uiteraard hebben we dit meteen gemeld en er werd ons beloofd dat ze dit zouden opkuisen. Bleek achteraf echter niet opgekuist te zijn. Bij het uitchecken kregen we enkel een sorry. Koffie sporen in de lift tijdens ons verblijf, de tegels rond de douchebak kwamen los, douchekop zat verstopt met kalk. Een eitje (in welke vorm dan ook)tijdens het ontbijt was niet verkrijgbaar . Het enige positieve is de afstand tot het centrum en de beperkte gratis parking

Best in town for your price.Located in heart of Leuven the classic oude markt & the cocktails they offer are mouth watering & eye catching personnel are always ready to help in any ways... Love this people.... I recommend it if you are in Leuven cheers.

GGuest UserFrom the entrance to the way out, it is a terrible experience. They said the manager would be there from 4 to 6 pm...Wrong! he is rarely there. I arrived at 4:10 pm. People at the entrance cannot find the way to get the keys, you get the key in an envelope, and then you go through very dark and narrow stairs (see photo) that smell terrible (like rats). Later that night, you will find that it is true...rats between the floors and walls. They make noises during the night. The wall of the room are thin, and you can hear well from the other rooms. They offered me a room with a kitchenette, I prefer to cook myself when I have to be for more than a week in a location. The stove only warmed up the food. It took me one hour to cook one egg. The bed is uncomfortable, too small, and too cheap the mattress. The furniture is cheap. The utensils to cook are old, and the cabinet with them smells of humidity. The toaster is disgusting, you see the fungus inside (see photo). The bathroom is small and needs to be refurbished. There is no way to clean it anymore (see photo). The curtain is old and dirty with spots. Outside is not better. I arrived Sunday, the containers were full of trash. There was trash on the floor of the area too. The whole week, they did not collect it. You can see the photo of the Sunday when I, fortunately, had to go to a better place. The photos that they post are nothing like reality. I read in someone else post that he saw the rats running in the gardens... I was lucky, I did not.
