We spent 5 nights at the Shepherd Hotel and enjoyed our stay. They include breakfast each morning with many choices. The room (ours had a single queen bed) was just the right size. Housekeeping came daily to clean up. The front desk staff were very helpful throughout our stay. It is within short walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We would stay here again.

A very unusual hotel. Front desk staff were helpful. Room was basic but clean and functional. I never managed to avail of the breakfast offerings as had early meetings. Convenient enough location, I could walk to my conference and the town centre (opposite direction) quite easily.

Hotel is well located. Central, everything within walking distance. Parking lot next to the hotel. Rooms are really small. Barely any room to move. No coffee and/or tea facilities. Friendly staff. Moderate price-quality ratio.

Excellent attention and kindness of the staff. While staying we had a problem due to cancellation of the return flight and they treated us wonderfully. The location was practically in the center of Louvain, the rooms were impeccable, we had a 20-month-old baby with us and they went out of their way to provide attention.

Spent a long weekend at Hotel The Shepherd. Nice clean hotel. Everything looked neat and good. Nice room, only sliding glass door to the bathroom and toilet gives little privacy. Bathroom is small and only has a shower. Rooms were cleaned well and provided with new beds. Good beds. Perfect location to the old market and food and drink options, ideal hotel to spend a few days in Leuven. Wifi is good and free. Breakfast was simply well prepared and more than sufficient. Quiet hotel, little noise in the hotel itself. The school opposite caused quite a bit of noise until late in the evening and early in the morning by means of loud music. Parking opposite the hotel was not possible, so you had to park at the Q-park parking garage, which will cost you 22 euros per day. Easily accessible, both by car and on foot. Parking at the hotel apparently only costs 15 euros. You must call in time to discuss this otherwise there will be no room!! All sights within a short distance. Must say that 1 or 2 days in Leuven was sufficient for us.
