A very elegant room in a charming old house with beautiful paintings and a well chosen aesthetic taste in things! The scent sticks need to be played down - I removed mine to as far away as possible. The breakfast was well considered… thoughtful aesthetically pleasant healthy and well presented. All the staff (2) were friendly kind and helpful - a lovely place to stay though not much happening in the town. Le Cloisier had great food …

Tom and Flavia are great hosts. They had a lot of great tips about the area, which places to visit, information about hikes and so on. They were really thoughtful and we'll informed about the place. The accommodation is perfect. Spacious rooms which were spotlessly cleaned. We even got fresh towels halfway through our stay. Lovely atmosphere throughout the house with great details in the decorations. The location is great also. Located in the Leucate village it is a good place to start your trips, to go kiting, to go the local market or one of the many great restaurants down the main Street. Breakfast with fresh fruit, croissants, excellent coffee, juice, baked eggs and a surprise homemade item (which Flavia made) were excellent. Such a good way to start your day. It is such a pleasure waking up with the thought of a breakfast like this. I want to give 6 stars, but it is not possible. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here!

Located in the village which is beautiful. The guest room has a lot of character. Spacious room. Hearty breakfast. During the summer, the heat is unbearable in the rooms. Even with a fan. And to find a place to park....very very complicated during the summer period. And do not choose this place to rest because it is a very dynamic village with evenings on the square right in front of the guest room.

weekend in Leucate Village in this guesthouse with friends and we had booked 4 rooms. Positive points: Guesthouse located in the heart of the village, easy parking (at this time of year) with restaurants nearby (we recommend El Flamingo and La Closerie 5 minutes walk away) Very friendly welcome and pleasant house with a mix of old and vintage. Many paintings by the owner. Full breakfast Negative point: a room without a shower (under repair but the owner warned us) but be careful, there is a room (the first one going up on the right) where there is an opening between the bathroom wall and the bedroom (above the mirror and the sink). You can close the bathroom from the inside. Basically when you are in the toilet, you can hear everything from the bedroom and vice versa!! For "old couples" this may be fine but for "young couples", it may be annoying because there is no privacy when you are in the toilet (noise and smell!!). I reported it at the start but the answer did not convince me ("open" hole to avoid humidity and condensation???), too bad VMC exists!! For this detail, which can spoil a stay, I consider that the price of €130 per night is high.

Very disappointed with the services! The reception was expeditious, the time to give the keys and no restaurant advice etc... Smell of humidity as soon as you enter, very noisy, no air conditioning, no TV, no Nespresso, no kettle. Household limit. Full breakfast but no friendliness, no communication with the host. The price is not justified at all.

Super adresse située sur une charmante petite place à 2 pas des restos. Les chambres et parties communes sont décorées avec goût. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, l’hôte nous a bien conseillé sur les bons endroits où dîner et déguster des huîtres.

Nous n avons jamais vu le propriétaire, pour une maison d hôtes c est vraiment dommage, nous croisons rapidement Laurie le matin qui est très agréable. Pas de clim , difficile de dormir avec la chaleur même avec les fenêtres et les volets ouverts . Village très calme , voiture à garer dans la rue .
