Conveniently located and comfy hotel in Letterkenny, making it an easy base to travel elsewhere in Donegal. Lovely staff who were keen to share recommendations, too!

Hotel has just been recently refurbished. Clean spacious rooms and super comfy beds. Staff very friendly. Warehouse Restaurant spacious , lovely food and special mention must go to Shay for being friendliest barman. Steak nights in Thursdays very good value

We are a walking club from Co.Clare that go away on trips regularly and I must say how impressed we were with the hotel itself, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, our only issue was our meals in the evening weren't all that great, very salty and we have one member who has a food intolerance that despite letting the staff know, the chef seemed to take it as a personal insult when nothing on the preset menu suited her. The rooms were very comfortable but the fan in the bathroom kept going and made sleeping difficult. Having said that I would have no problem in staying here again.

Amazing experience from the time we went in the door. Lovely receptionist who was so interested in our travel plans and printed off some v helpful information about the area. Loved the bar and great bar staff. Beautiful room, such a comfortable bed and amazing breakfast. Will be recommending to anybody visiting the area. We are travelling the Wild Atlantic Way and this has been the best hotel we stayed in.

Stayed for the rally weekend. Had issues checking in as someone else booked the hotel for us and they were stating bookings are non-transferrable but within 30 minutes and liasing with the person who booked it to e-mail in our IDs and details we were checked in. The reception staff weren't the friendliest/bubbliest. Room was fine and clean, nothing special but had good a/c. Thankfully there were enough spaces in the car park as it's a very busy weekend. The staff in fairness called us when they found a left belonging in the room and handed over at the reception afterwards. Breakfast was underwhelming. The choice is very limited, literally maybe a wheetabix or cereal bowl or the hot counter (for English/Irish breakfast only), no pastries or fruit selections. The second day the food at around 10am was not very fresh, the hash brown and potato farl tasted like it was from the day before. For the price being charged for the rally weekend (I think around 720 euro for 2 nights) this is not good enough. We stayed at the sister hotel (Clanree) the night before and honestly it was better in every way other than the location not being in the middle of town to be completely honest.

The stay in McGettigans Hotel in Letterkenny was very enjoyable and also very relaxing. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend it to all my family & friends to stay.

Nice hotel.
Hotel itself had just been refurbished so everything was pretty new. One of our main problems was we didn’t have WiFi the 3 days we stayed. They had a sign stating they were having problems with it. This didn’t help my wife and I as we’re both self employed and rely heavily on WiFi when we’re away. The hotel itself didn’t have much of an atmosphere at nights even though they did have entertainment on the 3 nights we were there.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated, Majella on reception was so friendly and helpful, would definitely stay here again.
