I ran a half marathon in Leshan and stayed at Huayu, the No. 1 hotel in Leshan. The location is good, the surrounding area is convenient, the hotel facilities are also great, and the breakfast is rich. Although I am not particularly satisfied with the organization of the Leshan Marathon, I am very satisfied with the hotel accommodation. Convenient transportation. You can go there from the high-speed rail station or by car. There are 2 floors of underground parking. As long as there is no event, parking is still very convenient. Opposite the hotel is Shihao Plaza and Ito Yokado. The price is moderate and the service is very good. The air conditioner is very quiet.

It is also very convenient to taste local specialties around. It is only about 20 minutes drive from the Leshan Giant Buddha. I will definitely come again when I go to Leshan in the future. 1. The hotel's welcome service was regrettable. The courtesy and thoughtfulness I expected when I arrived and left were not reflected as I expected. There was no service when getting on and off the car, and no one offered a hand even when I was carrying a lot of luggage. This indifferent attitude is far from the high standard of service that a five-star hotel should have, which is disappointing. 2. Although the hotel is well maintained overall, the facilities are still a little old. Some equipment seems to have not kept up with the pace of the times, and there is a clear gap with the modern standards of five-star hotels. 3. The hair dryer provided is not only noisy, but also has very low air volume, which is obviously eliminated by the times. The existence of this equipment undoubtedly affects my living experience in the hotel. 4. Regarding the hotel's service staff, I think they need to improve their professionalism and service level. The standard of a five-star hotel is far more than providing basic accommodation services. It also needs to pursue perfection in details to create a warm experience for guests. However, during this stay, I did not feel such high-standard service. In summary, although the hotel still needs to be improved in many aspects, I am still full of expectations for its future development. I firmly believe that as long as the hotel can improve and upgrade its existing problems, it will be able to rank among the ranks of truly excellent five-star hotels and meet the five-star standards of the InterContinental Hotels Group. Otherwise, I am very disappointed as I often cooperate with the InterContinental Group for business activities.
